The Walking Dead - Talkback
So, who else saw the premier tonight? I thought it was great and am looking forward to the rest of it. Also, being a HUGE fan of the book did help me as well.

Fucking awesome! Loved the ambiance when Rick gets out of his coma and is roaming around the hospital. Gave me serious 28 Days Later vibes though. The scene with Morgan trying to lure out his wife and kill her was just powerful. I'm really pumped for next week's episode.

FANTASTIC premiere. It does what the original comic set out to do, but with its pacing, it actually does it much BETTER. We get a much more thorough look into the characters than we did in the first trade, and I love that.
I can tell I'm going to REALLY enjoy this series.

This show is good times. I have little doubt that I'll be watching the whole season. Great character moments and drama mixed in with a few nicely-done zombie sequences.
Very impressed with the production value. Premieres usually get extra money to make everything look great, but they've been trumping it up like the show in general is breaking new ground, so I look forward to seeing more of what they've got in store.

Weird... The download is taking longer than usual. Hopefully when I get home later, I'll be able to watch it then. I saw that it had great reviews.

My torrent was taking longer aswell. I was surprised.
Can't wait to check this baby out. I do hope it's better than the UK Dead Set show.

The comic is the best zombie apocalypse story I've read even though it's depressing. So far, I've gone up to the prison story arc.
