Power Rangers Science Force

[Sentai Rider 1983]

This is my fifth original Power Rangers team. It was inspired by the TV show "Eureka", which is about America's smartest little town, and it has SOME elements similar to Operation Overdrive. Namely the Zords.

The Premise

When an evil geneticist & his mutations begin wreaking havoc on the city of Titusburg, a corporate scientist must recruit five interns to stop them. The interns are all local college students hoping to pursue their dreams and get a good education. Together, the five of them will use high tech weaponry to combat this evil as the POWER RANGERS SCIENCE FORCE!!!!

This appears to be more based off of Dynaman, rather than Eureka.

Trust me. It's not Dynaman. Though it was the Sentai that was on when I was born. It's inspired by "Eureka". I named a majority of the allies after the characters from the show. Namely the main mentor. I named him after the Sheriff. The Rangers are named after people I know. I changed their last names. Guess which Eureka characters some of these people are named after. The colors indicate which Ranger they are most associated with.

Well it just has that Dynaman vibe. It sounds so similar to the plot of Dynaman. But of course my latest adaptation is being adapted from Liveman.

You know, you could be a bit more original with the Zords. Instead of ripping off the Zords from Operation Overdrive. Just a thought. Oh and I haven't seen of Dynaman either. Unless you count that English parody of it. But I got most of my information on Dynaman from Wikipedia and Supersentai.com.

I didn't rip off Operation Overdrive. The Rangers' main zords are vehicles best associated with their fields. Tanks have computers in them. Race cars have engines and that pertains to Mechancial Engineering. Submarines are used to explore the oceans. Drill Tanks dig into the Earth. Space Shuttles explore space. And some storm trackers use tractor-trailers as bases. I couldn't think of any other vehicle for the five Auxiliary Zords. The DefendTech Zords are based on the Protectobots from Transformers.


There will be an Auxiliary Mode & Ultrazord combos. And there are references to Operation Overdrive. I stated that part right off the bat.
