It's difficult when it still makes so much money. Though even the voice actors picked up on this. A few years ago, the American voice actress for Asuka joked that the newest series release would have a whole six seconds of new footage every third episode.

The lack of Unit 07 makes me wonder what the staff was thinking.Everything else spoiled I can live with.

Also here are place holder names I got until Gainax starts giving out names for the new angels:

Third Angel- Kushiel (Rigid One of God/Angel of Hell)
Seventh Angel- Othniel (Hour of God)
Eleventh Angel- Kokabiel (Angel of Stars)

The whole Tunniel, Clockiel, and Funniel names are simply lazy if you ask me.
