Hello everyone, and welcome to round one of Henshin! The Ultimate Battle! You may remember this from nearly a year ago when I started it, and promptly forgot about it. Since it's been a year, here's the bracket to refresh your voting memory. For one of the first fights: Kamen Rider Black vs Dekamaster!

I'm gonna have to go with Dekamaster here. I like Black more, but Dekamaster is just more practiced and seasoned.

I can see him mentoring Black should they ever cross pathes.

Black. Call it bias, I don't care, but Kotaro ain't being taken down by a blue dog muppet. I like Deka Master and all, but it's hard not to look like a badass in comparison to the Keystone Kops.

Sure DekaMaster was tough in Dekaranger but he ain't got 1 thing on Kotaro/Kamen Rider Black. Yet these votes are going to Dekamaster because 95% of the voters haven't seen Black yet.

It's a truly sad day in Toku when DekaMaster wins over Kamen Rider Black.

I've seen both Black and Deka and still thought it was a hard choice. DM was basically the only thing I liked about Deka though.

Same here. And when I first saw the preview pics of Deka, I thought, "Jesus, a talking dog puppet?" But Inada and Kusaka put their friggin' hearts into that character, IMO. Which is yet another reason why I think the PR Doggy is a disgrace (the uninspired voice actor plus the oddball Coolio Fish?).

But I still think Black could take him. Like I said, Deka Master only seemed truly cool when surrounded by frickin' idiots. Just as Wolzard and Dragon Ranger only seem cool because look how weak and young their opponents were!

Lol. Comparatively, anything looks stronger if they are surrounded by weak snit. You gotta compare at the same level. If Black and DM were to go out against it...I'd say it'd be a pretty fair fight.
