He comes a rant...:laugh: Thinking back to what I said about Mizushima's take on Tendou (he makes Tendou come across as more a smug turd than the sage-like, seemingly superhuman, calm guy he's supposed to be)...

I was going through a tape and came across an ad for that movie Onmyoji. For some reason, I remember enjoying that movie when I saw it a couple years ago and remembered what made it enjoyable -- Mansai Nomura's performance as Abe no Seimei. That's the style in which I think Tendou should be being played. Seimei has basically the qualities that Tendou's supposed to have; sage-like, calm and collected, knows everything and has seen it all, carefree. Nomura has a perpetual smile on his face in the movie -- he makes Seimei this warm, friendly, yet he exudes a superior aura and is otherworldy, all while never coming across as smarmy or unlikable.

Just thought I'd toss this useless babbling out there.

I still hope we see more in store for Yaguruma and Kageyama, since they were both so important for the last few episodes. SHADOW was cool too, it was nice having Zectroopers that were organized, efficient soldiers as opposed to mall cops. :laugh:

Nomura Mansai was great in both Onmyoji and Onmyoji II, and tendou would be a better character if he came acrossed more like Abe no Seimei. Mansai made it seem Abe no Seimei did know it all and was walking the path of heaven while seeming approachable and without coming off as arrogant.

Nomura Mansai studied Kyogen, a form of Noh.

Unfortunately, when Yaguruma freak out, it almost got everyone killed. However, with Kagami, the ZECT Troopers (Shadow or Mall Cop)...FINALLY KILLED SOMETHING!!! :laugh:

Poor Kagami I found out why he despressed in next ep. After giving up being theBee for friendship with Tendou. Tendou tells him he doesn't want to be his friend. I got that from Kabuto site summary of ep 11 and preview of ep 12.

I could have told you that from EP1, Tendou has no interest in making friends. All he cares about is walking the path of heaven.

Quick thoughts on episode #11 (while I find the time to catch up on the last few :laugh:):

Drake makes his debut at the very end, but we get to know his human persona throughout the episode. He seems like a pretty good guy, but of course he's quickly comes to be at odds with Tendou and will be fighting him next episode. I hope he fares better than Yaguruma, who's nowhere to be seen (but he's coming back according to the episode preview synopsis in Hyper Hobby.) I wonder what the deal is with his sidekick there...I assume she's an orphan as a result of the meteor crash or some such.

Sorry Kagami fans, but Tendou is really making him into his personal bitch this episode. :laugh: If he turns into TheBee again, he's going to need to go back and get that bracelet he dropped, because he nearly gets squashed into the ground again this time and is only saved by Kabuto (TheBee Zector is nowhere to be seen.)

I have to say Drake's Masked Form has grown on me a lot, I like how freakish it looks with the uneven arm armor and "gasmask" thing. His Rider Form looks neat, and yes, his final attack will really be "Rider Shooting".

The only part I really liked of episode 11 was the omake. :/ Daisuke, ah, not sure whether I'll end up liking him or hating him, probably neither. I felt bad for Kagami and started getting upset with Tendou, bah. I hope next week is better.

Daisuke and Yaguruma seem pretty laid back as much as Tendou. However, it's their contrasting philosophies which makes them hate each other. For some reason, it feels like it will be like a staring contest of who has right to walk the path of heaven or something. Yaguruma already "blinked" (as his Zecter abandoned him once after losing his cool), I'm guessing Daisuke will too and once Sasado appear, he will be the one who will probably make Tendou blink.

The Riders' personalities in this series are like a Ryuki/Hibiki hybrid...(don't ask, I just get that impression)...it's the whole..."I'm a really happy person, yet I'm also a lunatic; but a nice lunatic"... :sly:

Episode 11 was probably the funniest episode of the whole series.
Daisuke is definately one of the most interesting characters in new gen Kamen Rider so far and he's actually a pretty cool guy.
Gon is a nice addition to the cast as well and I can already see that Daisuke&Gon will be much better than Ibuki&Akira.
It's funny how Daisuke doesn't care about saving men and only cares for women :laugh: Thought that was pretty funny.

Even though Drake is set to fight Kabuto next week, I doubt that they will be enemies throughout the show.

Daisuke is an annoying womanizing twit and so far I can't stand him...but, he does have an unusual character, or wait more like...he's about 5 things rolled up into one... Omg, you don't know how many "alerts" went off in my head...LOL! :laugh:

Kagami totally kicks ass, but he was soo...what's up with the whole Tendou "b*tch" thing? Was that a TALE pipe thing sticking out of Drake's mouth??? :sly:
