Looks like it. So why bother introduce the time travelling ability of Hyper Kabuto while it totally did nothing to the series?

The Cool Factor™, of course. Who cares if it's used!? It's cool!! </sarcasm>

Speaking of which, just a random thought after watching 48. Anyone here thinks Tendou comes back for 49 by the Hyper Zecter?

I enjoyed the ending myself. I mean, it was no Blade, but that doesn't mean it wasn't any good. Still, I'm sad that there won't be any more. It was a good run.

...
And when Den-O starts up we get to go through this whole process all over again.

Well said! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who was miserably let down by Kabuto...

I have to agree with Blue on the Hoppers and Drake faults.

I still don't get why Yugaruma paired up with Kageyama in the first place. 13 proved that he was still sane after losing the Thebee zecter, after, he did the right thing and Kageyama told him off and comes back as a loser(but a cool loser) and pairs up with the same douche that made him lose it in the first place with out even revealing anything on his backround on what really cause him to freak out and get 2 zecters from the imaginary place called "Hopperland". Leaving with a WTF ending between them. It would have been better if they have Yugaruma be a loner instead. Since Kageyama would have gotten the zecter back anyways. Havwe their be a rivalry with them.

Gonna miss the coolest ending song...."Lord of the Speed"

hope Yuuki Sato's gonna do den-ou's ending theme...

I love this ending. The one thing that I most wanted from Kabuto was given to me: The friendship between Tendou and Kagami, seen from their final battle. I've been waiting for it for a hell of a long time, and I'm glad to see that their chemistry this ep was awesome. I see this ending as a better version of Faiz's. Faiz's boss battle never gave me the impression of a final battle though, but the fight with Mishima really felt like one. I loved the way Tendou and Kagami fought to the death; they kept falling, getting up and continuing. :buttrock: Their friendship reminds me a little of Takumi and Yuji Kiba's, but while Kiba and Takumi gave off a slightly creepy, unnatural vibe, Tendou and Kagami's friendship seems much more natural (they had better chemistry). I think it's also because they've gone through much more together. Plus, Tendou finally removed his facade of arrogance to accept Kagami's friendship.

Mishima strangling the two beetle riders reminds me of a certain parallel scene in GSL.

Tendou should have just MHCed Mishima. He usually uses MHT only on the weaker Worms, so I always thought of MHC as the big guns, which it is. Still, it is very strange that the Double Caliburs damaged Mishima while multiple slashes from the Hyper Sword did not.

All I can say for Dark Kabuto is that he's one pitiful guy. His backstory had a lot of potential for some emotional scenes, but the way he went out was also great. Poetic justice, I might say. :P

I like happy endings (especially Kagami as a policeman, it suits his nature). I loved Blade's bittersweet ending, but in general I prefer happy endings, especially when everyone still gets along happily and everything. I haven't seen Hibiki's ending though, but I heard it was similar to Kabuto, which makes me look forward to it. One thing though: I wonder how much they paid the actor to make him come for a cameo of Daisuke?

Still, there're so many plot holes left gaping. It's a shame for Kabuto. So much wasted potential. :disappoin Plus, WHO ARE THE WORMS? They're the worst defined villians in all of the KR shows I've seen. Are the Worms completely gone? I presume Tendou is letting the good Natives live. One thing common between both species of Worms though is that they think Humans are a foolish, hopeless and greedy race. I guess each sees itself as superior and they're vying for control over the human race. The Natives probably one upped the other Worms by arriving on Earth first.

The perfect zecter being smashed into pieces was awesome. I don't care if it was to make a cheap double rider kick. I enjoyed seeing that stupid literal deus ex device being busted.

But I digress, though I really don't have much to say after Blue's big post. Kabuto just reeked of wasted potential. It's such a shame as well, especially due to the great start I thought it had. Excellent costumes, a refreshing change of main characters, I actually liked both ending songs, and pretty cool gimmicks, but it ended there. Made an excellent videogame and a "toyetic" series yes, but honestly it did terribly in storyline.

...Which makes Kabuto an intensified version of Faiz. More techno-gimmicks up the ass, so much techno-gimmicks that to incorporate them the series just sends them flying from nowhere, plot holes be damned.

...I'm gonna miss Tendou, Kagami, Tsurugi, Hiyori, everyone....

Damn you writers! At least Tsurugi deserved bettter! Ditto to Hoppers and Daisuke.

I'll surely miss the series for Tendou's Obaa-chan quotes and all. Someone NEEDS to make a WIKI section for them!

Good bye Kabuto. May the FULL FORCE be with you, as you are indeed the LORD OF THE SPEED.

Kabuto is worse than Faiz and is now the worst rider series I've watched.

Faiz at least tried to plug some holes around ep40 or so but Kabuto just kept digging them.

Besides, I always thought the Faiz visual designs are better.

And some how i have come to this conclusion - the fewer riders, fewer toys, the higher chance we'll get a better story (Kuuga and Agito)

Take a look at Gundam Seed Destiny's ending sometime. That was beyond rushed. While I admit I am a little disappointed by Kabuto's ending, the whole thing with Kagami as a policeman fits as does Tadokoro being a deliveryman. I mean, come on. They were setting that scenario up way back in episode 30. And while I was expecting much better action for the finale, it was still pretty good. So I'd say Kabuto was just one of those series that had many cool moments but just couldn't get the storyline it wanted to air made.

Well, Kamen Rider Kabuto is official over now. I'm so sad to see this show to go. It was a great show.

Now I've finally saw the final episode last night. Ok, that is... ahh... I love this series, but the finale is sooooooo disappointed, big time.

In the beginning of the final was good. Kagami prepared to go to the TV station and fight against Mishima.

I don't see Future Tendou. I guess there is no Future Tendou. TV Tendou managed to get out of all stuff from what happened in episode 48.

I found it awesome when Tendou showed up to the TV station and yelled at Mishima and Dumb Negishi (He's one of the worst character ever. I hate him and he was annoying as heck). Anyway... they start to fight each other.

I enjoyed the fights. I thought it was cool.

So there are something that I'm VERY, VERY, VERY disappointed....

1. Dark Kabuto. That was so short! Dark Tendou managed to get out of the building before it goes KA-BOOM! but... he grabbed Dumb Negishi and went back to the building and then it went KA-BOOM! From what I've seen the picture of Good Tendou, Dark Tendou and Kagami with huge explosive on background. I was hoping that they works together to defeat Mishima and the worms. *sigh*

2. That finale was so rushed! C'mon. I was expected that the final is gonna be HUGE. Could've better if Kabuto have 50 or 51 episodes.

3. No Daisuke! What the heck were they thinking? I don't care if the actor is the singer. Daisuke should be in the final to work together to defeat the final strongest worm. All is he do nothing. Pathetic.

The finale gets an D+. Not good finale at all.

The whole complete series gets an B+. It was a great series and I enjoyed it a lot. In fact, this series have it's strongest and weakest points. It couldve a lot better with good character developments, Tendou and his family, Tsurugi, Daisuke, the Hopper Brothers, Dark Tendou and others...etc.

Goodbye, Kamen Rider Kabuto.

it was an ok ending, i think they tried to make an epic ending, but couldn't since they had so many useless episodes :redface2: cough cough cooking arc, seriously white knife black knife, how about an i could care less knife.

the ending could have been better and not much really came out of it, i still don't know just how the hell tendou managed to escape, hyper clock up from the future again?

the perfect zector being destroyed was pretty awesome, and i loved the final double rider kick, some thing that tendou and kagami haven't done in a while, but it didn't really give me a sense of closure like hibiki's ending did.

kinda wish kagami ended up with renge or misaki, oh well :bawling:

In the one year later scene, Misaki mentioned something about Tsurugi, what was it?
