I can't imagine a Kuuga spinoff being interesting, that story is over and done. Anything you could add to it would be fluff at best.

There's all kinds of stuff you could do with Agito, though. The Gills concept is ripe for a sidestory and Agito's high concept means you don't need to focus spinoffs on the original characters.

Nope. An hour in which we can see how awesome he is... back in his 20's! According to what I read, he get's his ass kicked most of the time because of his age. Considering that he is the only Oni the I know that can use more than one instrument, I want to see him act like a badass even for just an hour.

They were planning a post-series Kuuga movie but it fell through.

I've always suspected whatever they were planning for a Kuuga movie mutated into the G3 plotline in Agito, since that's really the only part of Agito that has anything substantial to do with Kuuga.

Hasegawa writes female characters really well. I'm a lot more comfortable with the general plot for the Accel spinoff knowing it's in his hands.

(Sanjo isn't a terrible writer when it comes to female characters, but I find he is more likely to revert to type with them.)
