Now I like this idea of combing the elements of base robot with main robot. I just hope that none of the auxilary mecha are helmets, the main robot usually has a nice design but we never really get to see them anymore.

Now that is a good idea. I still hate the fact, it's nearly a decade with straight up animals in almost every sentai season since 2000.

Yeah, people have been waiting for a non-animal mecha series for a while now, it's not really a great way to start the show for fans who are already speculative of the rumors for the new series.

I am fond of the Ark idea though and it's a good opportunity for some real creativity. (Despite me knowing that route will most certainly not be taken.)

Magiranger's mech were mystical creatures. Phoenix (even though it was like the battle mode of Ryu-Sei-Oh), Taurus/minotaur, Garuda (closest thing to an animal), Mermaid and Fairy. The only animals in the show are the Dragon (if you want to count it.) and then the bird and the Lion to form the power up'd mech. Although I agree that Aba had animals since it's been proven Dinosaurs existed.

Animal-themed toys seem to sell tons better to modern Japanese kids, though. Pretty sure that's why modern Riders need to have little animal assistants of some sort.

The hybrid mecha ain't really a bad idea when you think about it. Combine both an animal and a vehicle... what kid wouldn't want something like that?. Hell, I'm 27 and I want it.

Finally! Thanks to a press release of the game of card " Rangers Strike ", title Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger is outright officially confirmed! What is also confirmed it is that they will travel on board of a boat / vaisseau-mère / Noah's Ark of Noé.

Thanks to this confirmation that confirms the most part precisely of rumours, I think that enter a good many them is fair, therefore souquez artimuses, the pirates arrive!
