That be me. Though, technically, I've carried an online name that in some way deals with the color blue since like 2002, so I win? :D I dunno, I have friends who actually call me Blue rather than my real name, so it's like a neat nickname for me.
I have a friend who calls me "blue" too... Cuz the first time I met him I was wearing a sweater that I guess was a similar color to my eyes. So he looked up and said "whoa, blue!" And the nickname stuck through all four years of college. :laugh:
AoiBlue is fine, dude (Tempted to say your real name hahaha)
I had a hard time picking my screename too, lol. Smilodon worked out nicely, but not as cool as Aoi Kurenai, or some others.
People ask me where I got mine, and I just shrug and say it sounded cool. :P

If you dont know where my name came from, I feel sorry for you. :P
Yeh, I'm not original when it comes to makin up names. I just find it amusing that when I was still relatively new here, someone made a birthday thread for me and everyone thought it was for the actor that played Faiz. :P That was very interesting.

My name is a Greek word for Sorry.
Don't ask. I've stayed with it for about five years. XD;
Also, yesterday I made a screen recording of how I made the banner in my signature, think I'll post it in the Art Institute...
EDIT; Here we go! (http://forums.henshinjustice.com/showthread.php?p=1102695#post1102695)

Ooh, so I wasn't wrong! He's the one that Elfangor liked, right? My favorite Andelite was always Aldrea.

He was the captain of the Dome Ship that crashed and left only Aximili alive. I don't remember his relationship with Elfangor, but I picked the nick after book #8 (the one with the flashback to the Dome Ship crashing) came out.

Ooh yeah, reading up on him, Elfangor idolized him or something to that extent. Were you into the series before then or was it that book that got you into it?
... XD; Man I did always love their crazy pronunciations of words and even more hilarious ways they actually spelled them.

I started at #3, I saw it in K-Mart and got into the series with it (I love birds of prey), then got caught up from there. I kind of lost interest somewhere in the late 20's or early 30's (my collection thins way out there) but got back in for the end. The ending pissed me off but I don't think she could have ended it any other way.

Ooh I got into it around book 10 or so and then caught up with everything else slowly and lost a bit of interested in the late 30s. Reading the Hork-Bajir Chronicles definitely got me back into the series.
I think it could have ended in a ton of different ways, that cliffhanger was just...I dunno, it pissed me off as well. I don't think it's the best way to reward loyal readers without leading it into a new series. XD;

The tragic theme of the series is what leads me to think it was an appropriate ending. The things KAA harped on over and over--war only hurts everyone, how fighting changes people--enforce this theme. The...surprise...that I was angry about actually got foreshadowed somewhat well, in the Ellimist Chronicles.

I still think it could have ended differently, it's true that war leads to all sorts of pain, but this is a narrative and the writer does have completely control of the characters and events to do what she wants them to do. I can see what she was going for, but after all the crap that she put them through, I always figured that the best would have been...if not a happy ending, a somber one, just not a cliffhanger. It's the cliffhanger that really bugs me, I wouldn't have had such a problem with it if we at least knew what happened after they rammed The One's ship...of course I'm sure we can guess, but still. Oh you mean that bit of the ending. That was pretty WTF all right.

When I was eight or nine, I found a baby Blue Jay that was hurt and took it in and tried to get it healthy again and...it died on me a few days later.
