Gah... classes start in a week and I'm already back and cleaning up my computer lab at the elementary school.
Whew~ working everyday and having classes... if anyone can speak Japanese well, I'm going to need help, I can already feel it. lol

There are many women here you can bug for that. :DWow......yeah first semester is gonna kill me. The 3-hour classes are definitely not for me. I'd rather go twice a week for an hour 1/2.It honestly isn't that bad if you're prepared for them. This semester I'm doing four classes online and on in person (film) and it's fairly easy.
What'll kill you is those five hour graphic arts classes. Oh the painful memories.

Well, did you take the online classea at night? XD
Cause today was from 6:30-9:20pm
Tommorow is 6:00-9:50pm (ohmyfreakinggawd)
Friday is 8:45-11:35am
then once October rolls around I got tuesday again with a class at 1-3:50 pm...which means I will be at school from 1-9:50....
Then thursday's at 1-3:50 again.
I wish I didnt come back a week late from thailand when classes had opened >.<....
I also tend to get sleepy at night in public.....so it was hard trying not to yawn in class :/

I take them whenever I want, they're online classes. XD
...unless you meant in person! I've had classes about that late, and really, a lot of the students there will probably be just as tired and yawny as you are! Teacher might be as well, so it isn't too bad. XD;

lol, I agree; the teachers who teach those classes are often so used to having their students utter exhausted or bored in class, so I wouldn't freak out too much.
I'm sure as long as you're doing what's required, a teacher could probably care less if you end up sleeping in class too

Well...guess I should be glad I only go once a week.
But thank god I have thursday off till the end of october. I'm using that day as a resting/doing homework day.

This is totally true, someone in my theatre class was blatantly sleeping in the front row and the instructor didn't say a word

Long classes definitely are a pain, especialy if they are lecture classes. I've had a few 3 hour lecture classes and they were brutal to sit through. But sometimes the teacher notices that and if he/she's cool about it, they may even end it early.
Long studio type classes are a bit more bareable cuz you are actively doing something. They can still be tiring at times, but you get used to it. I had 4 hour architecture studio classes for 4 years straight. After the first year or so, we all got used to it, and eventually spent most days, even outside of class, in studio. But, its still takes a toll on you sometimes.

Yeah, I'm not one of those, I'm afraid. My Japanese is about like my Spanish. Except that I never actually studied Japanese, so I have more of an excuse. :loltongue:

Often, the prof is just as tired as the class, since he's probably been teaching all day, or working a day job if he's an adjunct. They often let out early, especially if it's an evening class.

...well those 9 hours of sleep didnt help.
Now lets see if I can get into class today (I was actually on the waiting list, #1 for a full 4 weeks, so the school told me to just go to the class and see what happens).

Oh yeah, if you're #1 on the waiting list you're almost certain to get in. Profs usually have a bit of leeway in how many "extra" students they'll take in a class, even if no one drops. Which never happens. Someone always drops.

Yeah I got into Western Civ just by showing up the first day. There were half a dozen people that didn't and were automatically dropped.

Waah... Glad you're okay, Hercus~ O_o
I just have to say though, the BEAST Idol Maid show is pretty freaking hilarious to watch. Probably the only "reality" show I'd be willing to watch anyway. The crap that they put each other through is hilarious~

I had a bike drive into the side of my car, once. Freaked me out a bit. I was on my way to work, and it didn't notice me pulling out of my driveway. I was a bit of a wreck at work that day, for sure.

Yaaay. Don't get used to that, though. The first days tend to be the shortest.
Now I think I might had back to sleep, have a killer headache.

I got two text messages from someone I don't know yesterday. The first one said "loser." The second said "Oh, by the way, this is Natalie."
Great introduction... :sly:
