Clearly Diend is going to summon the Glaive that's not his brother.Has it ever been addressed which worlds Diend even draws his Riders from, because I just can't figure out how this multi-verse works. I know we have the Rider Worlds that show up in Decade, possibly the original Heisei show worlds and I am guessing the movie worlds too. Then we have the issue of Den-O and the splintered Showa universe, which casts into doubt if the original shows (both Showa and Heisei) even happened. So while the summoned Riders seem to be the originals, where do they come from? Also I haven't seen or read anything on Movie War 2010 so forgive me if this was explained there.

Nope. This aspect of Decade is really baffling, because the show goes out of its way to show that Diend's summons are "real" Riders and not just empty suits or fighting bodies.

But then why would half the Riders he summons fight for him? Are they "real" to the original continuities or the alt-continuities? This aspect of the show just makes absolutely no sense at all.

Movie War 2010 doesn't explain this. There's a level on which Movie War 2010 doesn't explain much of anything, beyond why Decade's plot doesn't make any sense. :laugh:

Isn't summoning Glaive going to be a little awkward though, didn't he say he would kill Diend or something to that affect when they met again.

The Diend Driver doesn't use the dimensional wall effect to summon them nor is it used when they take damage and disappear, even without getting destroyed completely (like Momotaros in Hibiki World). I assume that they're like the Servants from "Fate/Stay Night". Copies with all the personality and traits of the original heroes, bound to their summoner, but just copies, they aren't brought from somewhere else.

This seems like the kind of thing that would be answered by official information though, rather than the show itself.

I don't believe this ever happening in the show (pardon me, its 2AM here and I'm a bit sleepy), though I do remember him summoning Kiva in the Faiz world right? I wonder what would happen if he summoned him in the Kiva world in case he was already around back then.

These kinds of things are pretty much up to you to decide for yourself how it works as we probably will never really know.

I believe that is how the Diend summoned Black worked imo. I just assume if he was in the Blade world and summoned Blade, that world's Kazuma would show up, but if he is in a different world, a 'filler blade' shows up.

I don't think he can summon Riders indigenous to their worlds. If he could, he would have summoned Drake & Sasword to deal with Kabuto. But in the Sentai & Showa worlds, the Diend Driver's powers will be unlimited.

Den-O needs to be Spartan-kicked down a whole, then have dynamite dropped down on top of it, and after the dynamite has exploded fill the whole full of gas and have the gas set aflame.

It makes no sense for him to be able to do this if the Riders he summons can think independently, but it's not entirely clear (to me) that they can. Otherwise, I think some of these guys wouldn't just start fighting whoever Diend pointed them at.

Diend's powers are pretty show-convenient but hella confusing if you start really thinking about them.

Well, he never form changed them, aside from Final Formrides, but he used an attack Ride card for them, to activate a triple attack in the Agito World alongside Delta and Drake summons.

Otherwise, I think some of these guys wouldn't just start fighting whoever Diend pointed them at.

I think Momotaros showed pretty well the weird way these summons work. The summoned Den-O showed Momotaros' personality, was annoyed when Diend interrupted his entrance for the Final Formride.... but still just followed his orders afterwards and attacked Hibiki's Onis even though he'd have no reason to do that.

If he can use cards to force the form change, form changing probably should work. Although... I don't know if the form change would replace the Momotaros with some other Imagin or if it'd stay with Momotaros inside even afterwards... However, considering how the whole point of Diend's summons was fanservice, I guess the Imagin inside would change somehow too to match the suit.

Personally, I never liked Diend's summons. He should just have been a transforming Rider like Decade... If Diend's summons weren't around, Narutaki presumably would have continued using his gimmick from the first few episodes too, staying more relevant.

why? well~
1. Its Den-o's world no? being a Den-o movie all in all, Den-o can't appear in his own world
2. It breaks the trend.
3. Its suppose to be: Agito, Ryuki, Faiz, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, Kiva, Double evil riders, with Skull being there to replace Den-o's spot
4. I'm going to asume Rey is going to make an appearcance, since Arc is frigging huge

(My memory is a bit fuzzy, but he did cross the dimensional wall in BLACK to reach RX right?)

So I think Diend summoning Riders in their own world is still out in the open?
