Alright, I think I have a game plan now for Shinken no Sekai
The legend goes that Gendoshu are demons that claim they are gods, there's a town close by to where they live that's been terrorized by them for years every year, they come to town and demand sacrafices and the first born of every family to be offered to them if they don't make the demand, they wreck the village. Akashi Shiba, the first leader of the Shiba Clan, a royal family of samurais and he's sick of the Gendoshu attacks. He prays to the heavens to do something, and they answer giving Akashi the Shado Phone allowing him to become a Shinkenger, the guardians of heaven.
A war breaks out between the samurais, and the Gendoshu which result in the Gendoshu being sealed in the Sanzu River. Fast foreward several years, and someone has released the Gendoshu back to the real world. Akashi Shiba has been slain in battle, and his son: Takeru Shiba is now the new Lord, though he is rather young. However, the Gendoshu are different then they were before, believing that the young lord cannot stand against them alone, they appoint five more people, servents and commoners alike to become Shinkengers as well.
Takeru is against this, and beleives he is strong enough on his own he treats his retainers like dirt.
Part of out time there is to teach Takeru the true value of his comrades this is also where Will's gonna start to open up to people more, having seen a lot of himself in Takeru.
