Chapter 1: Beginning

It was about 6:30 in the afternoon, the sun was setting, and the sky had never looked more beautiful on that California afternoon. Virgil had just finished his job for the day, basic programming for an up and coming website, nothing big. But because of the demand of the buyer, it had taken longer than he thought, and he had become somewhat agitated. But that wouldn't stop him from enjoying the rest of his night at home, watching tv. But something else would.

As he rounded the corner, he could sense it, something was off. Then he heard it. A monster had broken through from the Mirror World, and oddly enough, it was targeting a woman infront of him. However, there were two monsters, both of which were Gigazelles, and wherever there were Zelles, there was going to be a huge pack. So he rushed forward to protect the woman, and the Zelles ran back into the Mirror World.

"Get out of here," said Virgil to the young woman, and she took off, scared at the initial attack. "You guys really know when to start all this crap don't you." Feeling around his back pockets, Virgil pulled out his white Advent Deck, and showed it to the reflective window infront of him, producing the Vent Buckle around his waist. Raising his left hand, he shot it diagonally across his body, then turned his hand palm outward.

"Henshin!"

Virgil then slid his Advent Deck into the belt, resting his hands at his side. His armor then materialized upon his body, now becoming Zangen. He stared deeply into the mirror, grabbing his katana/visor at his side with his right hand.

"Let's ride." He then jumped into the mirror.

"Hey good morning Aurora," Alex greeted, walking into her room. He walked over and moved her hair out of her eyes before kissing her cheek. "How are you doing pretty lady?" he asked her sleeping form. "Hey remember that poem I made? I've been getting some good reviews on it lately...I made it thinking of you...I always seem to be thinking of you..." he whispered, petting her cheek. "You're so perfect... What did you do to deserve this? Nothing, that's what...Nothing," Alex whispered.

"I'll save you. I know I will, and if I fail, then I would have died trying. We'll see each other in Heaven then," he smiled, before getting a weird feeling. Mirror Monsters... he thought. Always with you, he added, kissing Aurora's cheek before leaving the room and running down the hall.

By the time he reached the bottom, he saw another Kamen Rider disappear into the mirror. His eyes widened and his hand twitched. Another Kamen Rider...if he was a rational being, maybe Alex could have trusted him, maybe even work with him, if not... then we'll see. As the other Rider disappeared into the reflective surface, Alex ran to the mirror, pulling out his Advent Deck.

Holding it up and having his buckle appear around his waist he said, "Henshin!" and slid it in, turning into Kamen Rider Setsuai. He waited a few seconds to let the other Rider get ahead of him before jumping into the mirror after him.

Lucas sighed as he stood up from his desk. The class had just ended then. He walked towards the toilet, as he was letting off something, his multiple personality was getting out of control lately. Lucas stood there, inside the toilet looking at the mirror. Suddenly, a reflection of a man, appeared in front of him. Luke jumped back as he was surprised. "I have an offer for you." The man said. Luke startled. "Are you a ghost or am I hallucinating!?" Lucas exclaimed. "I am only here to offer this to you." he said as he throw a black card deck at Luke right out of the mirror. Lucas caught it and looked at it. There were Wing designs around it. "What's this for!?" he asked, curious. "Fight. Join the Rider War and fight until the last one." he said as he disappeared. "Wait!" Luke exclaimed, but the man was suddenly gone. Looking up at the deck, Luke pulled out a card. It said "Seal" on it. He then looked at the mirror. The monster he had seen a week ago was there. The Black Griffin. Luke held up the card at the mirror and the monster flew off, annoyed. "Pretty cool..." Luke said as he flipped the deck around, making it face the mirror. Suddenly, a Vent Buckle formed right in the mirror and attached itself to Luke. "What the...?" Luke said as the Advent Decks flew into the slot by itself. Armor then materialized on Luke and he was drawn into the mirror. Luke flew right into the world behind the mirror, the mirror world. As he fell from the skies, he saw two other people, just like him, armored, fighting other monsters. He crashed into the floor, trying to get up as he looked at the two.

Matthew was pissed after the incident in New York, and he kept his advent deck out as he looked at it he thought," I don't believe in destiny or any of that shit, but seriously you had to destroy my collection." Matthew always felt like he needed to rip Arctic Wasp's contract monster all the time. Matthew was just at his space that he would use to do his work, and of course he was making clothes for his clients. While he was sowing together the pockets of a pair of tuxedo pants, and he said," Damn wedding clothes like love is that important." Laughing he then heard the ringing that he heard the day he got Arctic wasp, and he said," Great." Matthew then called his assistant Angela, and he said," Hey Angela do you think you can finish this real quick I'll be right back." Angela smiled, and said," Sure hurry though." Matthew nodded, and he left his work space.

Matthew then went outside, and ran into the cafe across the street. Matthew then ran towards the bathroom which wasn't the best place, but one of the only private areas, and he then took his advent deck, and watched as the belt appeared around his waist, and he then said," Henshin." Sliding his Advent deck into the belt the bee symbol glowed, and Matthew changed into Kamen rider Ginhachi, and he said," Stylish as always stupid wasp." Running into the mirror Matthew got on his Rider shooter, and darted towards the monster's location. Matthew had exited the path between the two worlds, and into the mirror world. Ginhachi stepped out of his Rider Shooter, and he said," This is strange there aren't any monsters around. Ginhachi slid the wasp like visor of his shoulder upwards, and he took out his Sword vent, followed by placing it into the visor. Sliding the visor shut he heard a mechanical voice say," Sword Vent." Ginhachi's rapier flew towards him, and he grabbed it in mid air.

Looking around Matthew was confused there wasn't a monster, but this was the location of the attack.

Chris was silently sitting in class, and he had no care about what he was learning although he still wanted to graduate. The ringing noise the began to ring in his head, and Chris thought," Yay fun for once." Chris filled out his agenda, and he got a pass to go to the rest room although he left outside, and he went to the back of the school where there were windows, but no one ever was around except the occasional potheads smoking, and he then took his green rider deck out, and his belt appeared around his waist. Chris then flicked the mirror off as he said," Henshin." Sliding the advent deck into his belt the peacock symbol glowed as his armor appeared on him. Chris ran into the mirror, and then got in his rider shooter and drove off towards the signs of a attack. His rider shooter drove out into the mirror world, and he then saw a blue, silver, and yellow rider that had his sword out. Chris got out, and he said," Look at you all ready to strike at any moment." Chris spotted the pink and white gazelle monster, and he laughed because it was afraid of the two riders, and it ran off. Chris bowed, and he said," We've met before."

Matthew was confused, and he said," So you are that blank rider who saved that monster." Chis nodded, and said," He is a lot better then you think." Matthew said," You made him your monster what a idiot you must feel like now." Opening the claw like visor on his right arm he drew his sword vent, and placed it into his visor and he slid it closed. The visor then said," Sword Vent." The peacock feather like falchion flew into Chris's arm, and he said," You shall pay for almost killing me." Matthew under has mask, and Chris charged at Matthew and swung his blade downwards. Matthew's rapier and Chris's falchion clashed, and Matthew said," Come on you know we should be allies against these fiends of the mirror world." Chris laughed, and said," Yea only a ****** or a weakling would say that, and no offense, but you are both." Matthew kicked the rider in his chest, and he said," I am Ginhachi the most stylish rider of the mirror world, and no offense a peacock, and you're calling me the ***." Chris laughed, and said," You gave yourself a title. Well I am Fujaku the conqueror of the other riders. Now fall to your death or bow down." Matthew laughed, and said," You sound a little to young to be saying that, so gain some maturity." Ginhachi began to thrust his rapier forwards, and he stabbed Kujaku three times, and after he ran forwards kicking him in the face with a round house kick.

Virgil's ride shooter had placed him right infront of the first two Zelles, both of which were jumping around, excited for a fight. The first one sprung at him, and Virgil quickly drew his katana, slashing it across it's abdomen. The Zelle staggered, went in for another attack, but was stopped by Virgil's katana, impaling it through the abdomen. As the Zelle tried to get away from the blade, Virgil took it out, then slashed the Zelle twice more. The Zelle staggered once again, then exploded.

"One."

Virgil then turned to the next one, and it appeared as if it didn't care that his friend had just been destroyed. Virgil then took off after the monster, but he was blindsided by another Zelle, and he crashed to the ground after the attack, his visor however, had ended up near the first Zelle.

"Damn. This is going to be fun."

Chris was aggressive with his attacks and it was as if he was in a slasher film killing teenagers. Matthew laughed, and said," Look you little brat you seem to not get how fighting works." Matthew blocked the blade, and then kicked it out of the kids hands. Matthew slapped him in the face, and said," Look the decks aren't toys you can seriously hurt yourself, so do me a favor and give it so you won't have to..." Chris interrupted Matthew by charging him to the ground, and wrapping his arms around his neck and began to choke and bash his head into the ground. Matthew drew a random card from his deck, and as he tried to place it in his visor Christ laughed and smacked it out of his hand, and he said," How do you like not having your cards." Chris kept banging Matthew's head into the ground, and Matthew had no where to move, and he was beginning to get a headache, and he then said," Fucking brat." Chris got up, and Matthew played dead, and he said," Now to finish you." Matthew smirked, and then tripped Chris to the ground, and he grabbed the card he was going to draw, and he placed it into his visor and closed it, and his visor said," Strike Vent." The shoulder of Arctic wasp flew into Matthew's arm, and he said," With my blade, and fist I shall make you regret that." Chris grabbed his blade, and then said," Do you think you can beat me?" Matthew laughed, and then just said," No I don't think anything." Matthew then clashed blades with Chris, but he had his other arm open and he slammed his knuckle duster into his gut and then slashed him three times.

Chris fell to the ground, and then said," You mother fucker I'm not going to fall." Chris took out his strike vent card, and tried to put it in, but Matthew kicked him in the chest, and he said," This isn't final fantasy I'm not waiting for you to make your move you have to do it quicker." Matthew then walked towards Chris wishing to finish him off.

"Shoot Vent," a voice was heard, before a flurry of bullets hit the Zelle that was near the visor. Alex charged forward, loading a flurry of bullets into the Zelle, before it fell to the ground and exploded. The Kamen Rider moved forward and picked up Virgil's visor, keeping his eyes on the last Zelle, gun ready to fire, just in case.

Alex turned his head to see Virgil and he held up his visor with his unoccupid hand. "Friend or foe?" Alex asked. "I don't like your answer, I can easily take you out, but if I see your reasons as...just, then I think we can help each other," Alex stated quickly. "So...friend or foe?" he added, holding his gun at the Zelle

As Virgil got back to his feet, he heard 'Shoot Vent', then heard, and watched, a flurry of bullets slam into the Zelle that was near his visor, ultimately destroying it. Then, another Rider grabbed onto Virgil's visor, and showed it to him, speaking a few lines.

"Well, aren't you quick to judge," said Virgil, dusting himself off. "I'd prefer ally over friend, but hey, if friend get's my visor back, then yea, I'm your friend." Virgil extended his hand, motioning for the other Rider to give him his visor back.

[Kamen Rider Emo]

Alex stared at the man for a few minutes before throwing the visor at him. "We can talk more after this later. Shall we deal with this beastie?" Alex asked. "When we're done I would like to speak with you, or battle, if God decides us to," he said, keeping his cool, but he was getting a little jumpy inside. If he had to, did he have what it took to kill this man?

Virgil caught the visor, holding it firmly in his right hand. He then looked at the other Rider, staring him down through his helmet. He wanted to figure out this guy's angle, but at this point he didn't care, he had to destroy the other Zelle, with or without the other Rider's help.

He pulled a card from his deck, then opened up the flap holding the card reader, and placed it in.

"Long Vent!"

The ground next to Virgil began to hold a ripple effect, and then his contract monster, Shikamato emerged, holding the yari. Virgil grabbed hold of the yari, and Shikamato then went back into the ground. He spun the yari around to show off, then looked over once again to the Rider.

"We'll talk later, but for right now, let's kill this thing."

Virgil shot off towards the Zelle, doing a horizontal slash across it's chest. He then pointed the bladed end of the yari at the other Rider.

"Tag."

Alex nodded and reached down to his Advent Deck. He took a card and pulled it out, and held up a card with the words, Swod Vent on it. He opened up his left gauntlet and slipped it in. "Sword Vent," a voice announced.

Suddenly from the sky above two twin broadswords appeared. The Kamen Rider caught them in mid air and charged forward. He let out a yell and slashed the Zella with his swords, making an X as his blades striked the monster. "Would you like to finish it or me?" Alex asked.

"I'll finish it," said Virgil, discarding his yari behind him. He then pulled another card from his deck, opened up the flap in the sword, and placed his card into the reader.

"Final Vent!"

Another ripple appeared next to Virgil, and this time, Shikamato shot out of the ground. Virgil raised his right arm, and Shikamato landed on it, forming a huge gauntlet that ran from his hand all the way to his shoulder. He then punched the ground, creating a stairway effect, shooting the Zelle high up into the air. Virgil then took off up the steps, and on the last step he jumped up high into the air, pulled his right arm back, slammed it into the Zelle's stomach, then they both crashed into the ground. The Zelle then exploded, and as the explosion settled, a Zangen's symbol was cracked into the ground.

"So, you want to talk, let's talk," said Virgil, walking over to the other Rider.

Lucas was watching as all of this occurred between two Riders. They seemed to be allies. Lucas stood up as the monster had been destroyed. He then noticed that they used the cards in their Advent Decks to fight. They must have inserted it into their Visors. Luke looked at left arm as a visor rested on it. "Oi! I'm a little confused here! What is going on here!? What is this world? Why do you guys have monsters and I don't!?" He called towards them.

(OCC: I'm talking towards KRE and B Samurai's character)

Chris saw that there were other riders over there, and he thought if I could get to them then I'll be saved, and he'll die. Christ rolled, and quickly got up, and he ran towards the two riders and said," You have to help me that blue rider over there is trying to kill me I didn't do anything to him, and yet he just wants to strike me down please help me and I'll be your ally."

Matthew heard what the brat said, and he thought," Shit you did beat him up although he did just try to kill you." Matthew walked up to the three, and said," Don't believe that brat he has lost his mind, so please let him be, and have him run off to mommy." Chris was angered, and said," You shut the hell up you fucking horrible man trying to kill a child." Matthew walked forwards, and threw Chris to the ground, and he said," Kujaku that means peacock right. Well I'm the Silver Bee and you should know something Ginhachi doesn't like liars, and especially brats who think they can run to the strong to make for their weaknesses do me a favor go run off, and maybe we will have a better fight in the future although I'll always be one step ahead of you that is what I get for being stronger." Matthew threw a punch with his strike vent, and knocked him along side his head, and his armor began to lose its energy, and start to dissolve so Chris ran off and got into his rider shooter arriving at the back of the school, and he said," That fucker will die soon enough, and I hope it's those riders who kill him."

Matthew looked at the two, and he said," I am Matthew Davidson or Kamen rider Ginhachi I had no clue there was other riders until I ran into the blank version of the psychopath you guys just met. Well gentlemen its nice meeting you two. You should look me up just Google me and you'll find a article that tells why I lost my chance at fame." Matthew laughed, and then said," Look you can find my business by looking me up on Google also, but sorry I have to leave as you can see I'm sort of fed up of this world for today." Matthew then left the mirror world and left the Cafe's bathroom. Matthew then ran back, and one of his clients was there, and she said," Did you make that cocktail dress that I asked today was the day you told me it would be done." Matthew smiled, and said," Of course Ange did you finish the hemming?" Angela smiled, and walked out with the woman's cocktail dress, and she said," Its done." The dress had a wave like design while being a light purple, and Matthew said," Its very nice well is that cash or charge?" The women smiled, and handed Matthew two hundred dollars for the cocktail dress, and he said," Thank you madam, and I hope you come back again."

Angela said," You know you are pretty cheap for a designer you know maybe you should raise your prices." Matthew glared, and said," You give horrible advice. That's next year." Angela laughed, and said," They won't invite you back their probably." Matthew fell to the ground, and said," I hate when thermostats fuck up." Even though it was a excuse it worked sadly.

[Kamen Rider Emo]

Alex watched the other Kamen Rider destroyed the beast and was about to speak to him when another appeared. Alex looked at him and shook his head. "I take it your new at this?" he smiled. "Basically, you just entered a war. A tournament, you could say."

"I'm not sure how many of us there are, but there are people like us with armor, who fight in this tournament. Each Kamen Rider, has to fight each other and destroy the other, sadly. The last one standing, gets to have one wish, no matter what it may be," Alex explained.

"One who does not fight, cannot surive," said Virgil, looking up at the other Rider. "That's what that slip of paper said when I got my deck. So, we are all supposed to kill one another? Well, that's great. As if fighting evil monsters hell bent on destroying all of mankind wasn't enough, we still have to fight one another. Great, just great."

Virgil picked up his visor, and attached it back onto his belt then turned towards the blank Rider. "Look kid, my only advice would be for you to get a contract monster. If not, you're gonna get hurt really bad, and I'm speaking from experience."

Turning to the other Rider, Virgil grabbed onto his visor, "Well, I don't really want to fight, but if it ends up that way, so be it. So, let's talk then."

[Kamen Rider Emo]

"I feel th same way," Alex agreed. "This war is dangerous, and in war, alliances are made and broken. I fight for something that is very important to me, and you may be as well. Are chances are better together though, aren't they?" he offered.

"Think about it, if you're in trouble, you can contact me, and we can work together. Same goes for me. We do this, until we're the last riders, and we fight each other. Winner take all," Alex said. "Trust me, if there was a way to get my wish without fighting and killing, I would do it, but I don't think there is. So what do you say? An alliance? For now atleast?" Alex offered, holding his left hand out for Virgil to shake, the other hand near his Advent Deck, just in case.

Matthew made himself some coffee, and was thinking of how he could make his client's weeding dress without making it the basic white and pearl dress that is boring as hell. Matthew was just out of ideas, and Angela said," Whats wrong you looked stressed out?" Matthew said," Aww nothing just how do you make a wedding dress modern, and different?" Angela laughed, and said," I don't think we've got to that part in school." Matthew sighed, and said," Well better start making a basic wedding dress." Angela said," Yea that sounds best I mean better to have one then to have none, but who knows lets just try to get this done." Matthew nodded, and began to work on the wedding dress, and as he began to drape the fabric he thought," Who the hell was that kid, and why would he be after me I mean I didn't kill his monster or him, so whats his problem."

Chris sat in class reading over the slip of paper he got with his deck, and he said," So it's a tournament I'm sure to kill him next time." The teacher threw a piece of chalk at Chris, and she said," Mr. Vaughn stop talking to yourself this instant." Christ got up and laughed, and said," Why should I listen to you bitch?" The teacher was appalled, and he was sent to the principal's office. After getting out of school suspension Chris then went into the bathroom, and said," Rainbow gust kill that mindless teacher and the principal for me." Rainbow Gust bowed, and headed after his teacher.

Virgil looked at the other Rider's hand, wondering what to make of the situation. He was alot like the other Rider, fighting for something that he strongly believed in, and if there was any other way to obtain that wish, he would exploit that to the fullest extent. But, it seemed that this was the only way.

"Allies for now," said Virgil, extending his hand, and shaking the other Rider's. "I hate to sound cliche, but together, we'll be stronger. And I do owe you for getting my visor back. Although, I could've gotten it on my own."

Luke was a little puzzled but soon caught up. "I see... Then, I'll see you around..." Lucas said as he began to walk away. Suddenly, the same Black Griffin that has been targeting him appeared. It fired a gust if wind at him. "Gah! How do I get rid of you!?" Lucas shouted as he jumped out of the way. Remembering that the Advent Cards were used for fights, Lucas pulled out two from his Advent Deck. He noticed the visor on his left arm open up. Lucas placed one card first into it and closed it. "Sword Vent" it said as a Sword came blasting down towards Lucas. He caught it and pulled the visor open again, placing the last card in and closing it. "Strike Vent" it said as a gauntlet came landing on Lucas' right arm. He held the sword in his left arm and jumped up, trying to attack the monster. It knocked him off his gauntlet then, destroying it. He was left with his sword which he threw at the monster. It was hit, but minor damages was done. "Goddammit!" Lucas shouted as he dodged another blast of wind. He then remembered the advice. To make a contract. Lucas looked down at his Advent Deck. He pulled a card out. "Contract" it said. He faced the card towards the monster. A blink of light blinded the area then. Lucas blocked his eye with his free hand, but soon, the light eased off. The monster was flapping it's wings then, as it looked at Luke. Lucas slowly looked at his card.

"Helgridon" the card said. "Alright!" Lucas shouted as he noticed a Symbol on his card. It soon appeared on his Advent Deck. His visor transformed and had familiar look, like the Helgridon. His armor changed, more ancient-ish, and more suitable. His mask changed, and some sort of wing grew on his head like antennas. His whole armor had become more fit for battle. He notice that an extra sword and it's hilt rested on the left side of his belt, as if it was a visor. His armor was black. He then turned around and looked at the two. "I have made a contract, and I am already liking it..." he said as he walked towards them. "Allies?" he asked.

[Kamen Rider Emo]

"The more the merrier. Like this guy said, together, we'll be stronger," Alex said. "Also you ready for some practice?" he asked, as saw the rest of the pack of Zellas appear and near them. "Because here they come, and they look mad."

"By the way, you can call me, Kamen Rider Setsuai," Alex stated as he held his grip on his swords. "And you two are?" he asked as the Mirror Monsters charged at him and the others.

"Kamen Rider Wingserv." Lucas said as he caught a monster and threw him up in the air, falling down himself. Lucas drew a card from his deck and placed it into his visor, closing it. "Wing Vent." It said as a pair of wing came shooting from the sky that resembled Helgridon's wings. Lucas got up and flew into the sky, pulling out the extra swords, and came down slashing at the monster he just threw up.

This new turn of events had become interesting. Virgil had now become allies with another Rider, was about to be allies with another one, watched that other one become a full Rider, and now, another Zelle had appeared, being knocked high up into the air by the new Rider. With everything going on, and with the advent of the new Rider's arrival, he would let him handle this one on his own.

[Kamen Rider Emo]

"Shoot Vent."

Alex fired at some Zelles, but stood by Virgil. "So you wanna join in and beat these things?" Alex asked him. "By the way, I never caught your name," he added, shooting an advancing Zelle. He saw one charge at him, but he dodged the Mirror Monster and hot it back with a brrage of bullets.

Lucas sent the one he slashed crashing to the floor. "About time I use that card I've always wanted to try!" Lucas said as he pulled out a card from his Advent Deck. He inserted it into his visor and closed it. "Final Vent" the machine said. Helgridon came flying towards Lucas and he jumped up into the air. He did a 360 spin and came down then, Helgridon flapping it's wings on him. He was sent faster by the wind, and suddenly, a dark energy formed in both his leg and he kicked the monster with them, causing it to fly off the ground into midair for awhile and it exploded. Lucas landed softly and stood up. He watched as Helgridon devoured the monster's energy. "That was easy." Lucas said.
