I remember seeing Bishops fangire form in the Next episode preview.

Kengo definetely looks better with short, undyed hair.

But if Bishop is a Swan, that would mean there is indeed an Aves Class of Fangires. I have a hunch that Taiga is a Lizard class due to the snakes he conjured up. That further means that there is no Insect representative in the Checkmates in 2008. Could the '86 King have been one?

King as grasshopper would definately be cool, but based on what we know, the 86 King was probably a snake, like Taiga is (or a hydra, since that's what all those snakes eminating from him reminded me of.)

The colors of the Fangire form seems to alternate between generations, but the form itself does not change.

Wataru's may be bat-like for the sole reason that Kivat is used in the Kiva design, and nothing more than that.


I'm sticking to my theory that the King has no true Fangire form, and Taiga can only generate those snakes, but not go any further. Which is why the King needs an armor.

Wataru, being half-fangire, is able to channel Flight Style, which only half-fangire can achieve.


I am also, for now, going to stay with the theory that the 86 King is a benevolent ruler, who like Taiga, is being puppeted by Bishop. The writers could be taking the Inuyasha approach to the two brothers- King leaves Taiga the older, prototype suit, and gives Wataru, who isn't even his son, Kiva, so that the two brothers will be a match for each other, and therefore, have to eventually work together.

If '86 King is a Snake (and thus a Lizard Class), and Bishop is indeed a Swan, and the forms of the Checkmates never change between generations, then that means one Class will never be represented in the Four: the Insects. This, and the Aberu plot, makes me unwilling to buy this "Checkmate forms are fixed" theory. (Unless there is a role for the Insects that we haven't seen yet)

Well I'm taking my guess on why the bloody rose broke it because the use of it is no longer need because Maya being introduce back into 2008 timeline..and maybe her powers going to go back to her since the bloody rose broke just because we don't know yet though

I really hope that Megumi hooks up with Wataru then Mio
it would even be a better couple because it would relate to theme of the story of where fangire can't love human and maybe megumi is pure human and it would result her in being danger and Wataru going to help her
then there would be a more interesting story

never though that megumi dad could be the 86 king maybe never know..till the end..
well that seems too simple though i'm pretty sure there's a bigger catch to this story and also that i predicting she will have a bigger role in the story soon because she wouldn't be introduce in the first episode if she wouldn't be that special and kengo would be getting all the glory because he's getting a better part then her...

Sounds great, but I can't still shake off the feeling somewhat that Megumi and Wataru are siblings. Same father, different mothers? I mean if Maya had kids with both the '86 King and Otoya, who's to say Otoya couldn't have had Megumi & Mitsu with Yuri?
