Tetsu: The "Owl's beak" is above the visor with the "wing tip" touching the mouth-plate.
As for the theme..."In many parts of the world, owls have been associated with death and misfortune, likely due to their nocturnal activity and common screeching call.... In Japanese culture,... horned owls are perceived as demonic figures."
In case no one knows, a Snowy Owl is a type of Horned Owl.
But I encourage the Yeti part, hence the Snowy Owl.

It's a yeti, apparently a recent magazine scan describes the helmet as two yeti hands being wrapped around it.
I'm glad that's over.

I did download the torrent instead (problems with veoh).
As for the episode, there is only one thing I can say: This series is getting better and better all the time!
I loved the scene when Nago himself shouted to Megumi: "Megumi!" when he held the Fangire so that she could attack it. I also loved how Koji Seto plays Otoya so well.
As for Rook, the reason I say he did not attck Yuri is because he saw through her, spotted her weakness and left because he thought she wasn't enough for him.
Guys, have you noticed something? Bashaa got a different Arm-Monster-Calling sequence, which shows us more of Castle Doran. At a point, when he was about to be turned into the Bashaa Magnum, chains came from nowhere and sealed Bashaa turning him into Bashaa Magnum. For some reason, I combined that with what we know, that Otoya trapped the Arm Monsters and also according to episode 18, if Wataru is killed they will be set free.
As for Otoya-in-soul (not body), I think his soul might have been trapped somewhere and this gives me hope that it was removed from his body and that his body is somewhere in 2008.
As for Yuri, I think that it is not out of fear that she does not challenge Rook.
Go Megumi! Become IXA! Destroy the Fangire! (Megumi rules)
The 2 points I am getting from these ep.:
Firstly, nice scene with Nago and Megumi working together. Secondly, as Megumi was also shown to have the same problem with using the IXA Knuckle as her mother did, I hope this will allow us to parallelise 1986 and 2008 even more.
(P.S.: No Bishop in this episode, but Queen in the next! :p)

o which ideal couple would be best fit together by the end of the series..any debates on it..

I think people were speculating that Spider is the 'king' piece of the Checkmate four.
But... as history has shown us in KR, the role of grand manipulator frequently falls on the one supposed to be the head of the good guys. In this case, I would guess it's the leader of the Blue Sky, Shima.
I don't think Queen is Wataru's mother since that seems too obvious.

Well, it's currently the most popular speculation of the origins of Wataru's power. Can't think of any other possible explanation though.
I have my own guess as well...
King is the guy who runs the Cafe... the guy hasn't seemed to age at all in 22 years... I doubt the Spider Fangire is anywhere near to anything special, he's just a comedic relief character. Although I would agree that Shima will end up having a much bigger role

hey well that a point to be made i kinda agree w/ you cuz throughout the series in both time line didnt' see him grow older o anything...:thumbs: :thumbs:

seem at first sight the owner didnt' really like otoya..how he give otoya kivat
all seems to point to otoya wife was the one that gave it to him..

I'm thinking the one who gave Kivat to Otoya wanted to destroy the King, and the King is somehow related to the first Kiva, which Kiva wanted to kill him and become King. Sounds a little Bleach-like.

Studying Japanese series' event-timelines, I am guessing that up to episodes 30-35, all of the Checkmate Four will be shown, and that slowly after that Kiva will start defeating them one by one. Also, I am guessing that Kiva's Emperor Form, which will debut in the movie, will debut in the anime around episode 26-28.
(I am watching episode 19 3 times a day. Also, every day, I watch episodes 6, 10, 14 and 18.)
Come on, Sunday is getting near. :p
