Kiva's DatsuRod thingie reminds me of the Ryuki gauntlets, and IXA's RisingPhone looks like one of the BeetleBorgs' sonic lasers.

The name of the form is EMPALOR is play on both words. Like Kiva is a mix of kiba (fang) and Vampire.
