Check this out. I found out at MonkeyPeaches.com.

According to Hong Kong media, Jet Li is still eagerly anticipate a chance to star in a movie along with Jackie Chan. He said they had discussed several times over this matter. However, two separate agents representing them could not agree on many details such as how to divide the profit.

If they could work together in a film, that would be awesome. So what do you think? Gosh, I hope it's true if they can work together. You know they NEVER have work together before. Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao does, but not Jackie Chan.

Two of Hong Kong's greatest martial art stars in a movie together?

I'm all for it.

As long as it's not gonna be one of those Hollywood movies.

I'm glad you pointed that out.

Really, I'd prefer if they didn't work together. It's not going to do anything but cause problems. Their styles are so drastically different, I don't think Jet could handle shooting at Jackie's style or pace, honestly. It would just end up being another shitty Hollywood thug-fu movie opposite DMX and Russel Wong or a Chinese-Chinese buddy movie opposite Chris Tucker or Owen Wilson or whoever they hell they hire to fuck it up more than it already would be.

What I would REALLY like is for Jackie to stop spewing shit and just move back to HK. He's said he wants to get back there to revitalize the HK film industry (which he could probably do), but everytime he nears completion on a US project, he makes plans for Rush Hour 8 or Shanghai Dawn or The Medallion 2. And if Jet's movies are going to be as bad as they have been since, well, as far as I can remember, he should just stop. I saw the first 3 fights of "Unleashed" (I really wish they'd kept Danny the Dog) and they were very nice though. Maybe Jet should just stick to France. Seriously. Kiss of the Dragon was very nice and Unleashed looks like it has tons of potential. He just jives better with the folks over there. But that would mean Luc Besson would keep making movies, and God knows I dont want that to happen.
