Kamen Rider Kabuto: NEXT
(Based off of the Kamen Rider Kabuto TV series)


Ten no michi wo iki....subete o tsukasadoru otoko....

It was a bold declaration that one man echoed throughout the city of Tokyo, signaling the beginning of a battle against alien creatures known as WORMs, which emerged from a meteor that crash-landed in Shibuya several years ago. This battle lasted for years, with both the human and the WORM sides suffering heavy casualties. And still that one man -- Tendou Souji -- took with him the Kabuto Zecter, his greatest weapon in the war against the invasion of the WORMs, and dealt his own brand of justice, his final target being the one organization that created the Zecters: ZECT. And at that very moment, his declaration of himself would also signify the end of the war for all, Humans and Native Worms alike.

It has been five years since this epic battle. The Humans and the Native Worms -- also known as 'Natives' -- began to cooperate with each other as they restored the district of Shibuya to its former pristine glory. However, this fragile peace would soon be shattered, as deep within the ruins lie a dark discovery: an underground cavern filled with thousands and thousands of WORM eggs, which ZECT had somehow neglected. Becoming fearful for their own safety once more, The Natives decided to pin all responsibility of the nest's existence to the Humans, who in turn did not appreciate having the blame pinned on them, causing the fragile relationship between the two to collapse completely. War would once again grip the city.

In the midst of the tension, however, The Kabuto Zecter made its way back to Earth from the heavens, this time choosing an attractive high school girl named Ayane Kurosawa as its wearer. With only the Zecter and destiny as her guide, Ayane enters headlong into the war to eradicate the WORMs that have resurfaced, as well as search for the Zecters that were lost in the previous war.....

It was nighttime in the city of Tokyo. A lone figure stood in the park, hovering over a shriveled-up corpse. The figure then turned around as he heard footsteps coming from behind. The source of the footsteps revealed itself to be a pink-haired young woman wearing a schoolgirl's uniform, walking calmly to the scene without any hint of fear or hesitation. "My.....what a nice day for hunting down people, isn't it?" The young woman, named Ayane Kurosawa, remarked, noticing how the shriveled up corpse looked remotely similar to the person standing in front of her.

Within moments, the lone figure, with an evil smirked curled upon his lips, transformed into a large green creature with an unusually large head -- a Worm, as it is popularly known. Ayane stood by and sighed, showing no signs of fear for the strange creature that began to stalk her. In an instant, A red mechanical beetle zipped by and began ramming its horn at the Worm before it made its way to Ayane's hand. "Henshin!" Ayane yelled, sliding the mechanical beetle onto a slot on a metallic belt that appeared around her waist, allowing a black and silver armor to form around her body, as well as a metallic helmet with a blue visor and horns jutting out in a "V" shape forming around her head. With the transformation complete, Ayane began to rush in and pummeled the Worm with a series of punches.

A young figure stepped towards the fight, only to stun himself at the sight of the corpse. His face, unlike the figure in front of him, was covered in fear, but his brown eyes quickly changed to an analyzing state. His chocolate hair was messy, like he'd forgotten to comb or brush it. His gray hoodie was cold on his body, and his jeans felt the same way.
The boyish form averted his eyes to the fighting scene. He stepped back, staying just in case more worms came so he could help the fellow rider. Suddenly, more worms appeared, just as the figure, now to be called by his name, Akimoto, thought. Before jumping in, Akimoto wanted to see how the person fighting reacted.

Ayane, who continued to punish the Worm with various punches to several sections of its body, knocked it down with an authoritative right cross. Sensing the Worm's defeat, she brought out her Kunai Gun/Axe, and began to fire at the Worm as she slowly approached it. However, she immediately stopped firing at the worm upon noticing that more have joined the fray, and narrowly dodged a claw swipe from one of the newly-arrived worms. Deciding to change her battle strategy, she quickly flipped over her weapon, her hand now gripping the muzzle/handle, and started to hack away at the worms with the Axe.

Luppi had went to the movies earlier that night and was dropping his friends off. After he dropped off his friends he decided to go to a cafe near his home. Luppi parked his car and walked in saying hello to the people he knew and then said," Ok I would like a grande vanilla late." he paid the five dollars for the coffee and then walked outside to his care only to see four green creatures like the one from school and said," God a man can't enjoy anything without trouble." he put the coffee in his car and walked out and shout," Heah you disgusting garbage stop attacking them and fight me." The creatures turned around and charged at him.

Luppi saw the creatures coming near him so he took out the Drake Handle and then the Drake Zector flew from the sky and merged with the handle Luppi pulled the trigger and said," Henshin." A light blue light flashed as a dark sky blue armor covered him and he said," Yeah fun time." Luppi shot the worms from afar then ran and drop kicked one knocking him down to the ground, and as he drop kicked the one in front of him he shot at the one behind him.

Luppi landed on the ground and the one creature he shot at exploded and he said," Well you guys are well just boring do something neat." Luppi just didn't care for the battle and shot at the one on the ground who was kicked by him until he exploded. Luppi saw one flee off and he laughed looking at the only one left and said," So what are you going to do." Luppi looked as the creature changed read and watched it sheded it's skin. The creature now looked like a spider and Luppi said," So what its not you are any better then me." Luppi blinked and then he felt a punch to his chest he fell to the ground and said," Shit that hurt worst then I thought."

It seemed as if the creature could move super fast but yet got tired after words so Luppi shot at the creature as fast as he could until it fled. Luppi walked over to see four dead people and said," So they kill people now I can never forgive them." Luppi then went into a corny speech and said," I am Luppi Leones and I am the rose of the wind." The dragon fly flew away and he changed to normal. Luppi got into his car and and placed the Drake Handle on the front seat and said," I will find out what you are and I will find out what those creatures are I need to." Luppi drove off to his house taking drinks of his now cold coffee at traffic lights.

( OK well one thing real quick since Luppi believes the cast on form is all he can change to he kinda can't fight the evolved ones till he learns more, and he doesn't know anything of his zector and of Zect or the worms. And everyone Congrats to Gatack for making a great RP.)

OoC: I have horrible timing. -_- I must leave for the night, but I'll be back tomarrow morning.BiC:Akimoto stepped back, and looked up at the sky. It would be eight soon, he guessed, and that was his curfew. Sighing, he stuck his hands in his hoodie and walked towards his house. He hoped the morning would be more eventful.

Continuing her assault with the Kunai Axe, Ayane managed to defeat a few of the worms, each one exploding in green flames. Unfortunately for her, some of the worms began to change color, with smoke emerging from their green skin. Ahhh.....Shedding your skin, I see, Ayane thought to herself, switching back to the Kunai Axe's gun mode as the Worms shedded their Salis forms, and emerged as their mored advanced Arcane forms, their white skins exuding a dull glow underneath the park's lamps. Ayane began to fire at the Worms, attempting to eliminate them on the spot before they could attack her. However, a strange buzzing sound began to fill the air, and before Ayane could react to it, the Worms disappeared in a flash. She then felt something, or rather some things, knock her over several times, causing her to roll on the ground.

Fortunately, the heavy armor of her current form took the brunt of the attacks, allowing her to recover rather quickly. Ayane merely let out a deep sigh under her helmet as she dusted herself off and got up, witnessing the Worms get out of Clock up for the moment. Deciding to up the ante of the battle, she pushed the horn of the Kabuto Zecter slightly, causing pieces of her heavy Masked form armor to loosen up. "Cast off!" she declared, pulling the Zecter horn all the way to the other side. In an instant, the pieces of the Masked form armor flew in all directions, revealing a sleeker red-and-black Rider form, as well as a horn resembling a Kabutomushi's horn attaching itself to the helmet, as a computerized voice announced: "CHANGE BEETLE".

With her transformation complete, Ayane stared down the Arcane worms for a moment, watching and waiting for any one of them to make a move. Without warning, Ayane slapped one of the waistpads, activating her Rider System's Clock Up feature, as the Worms began to Clock up as well, causing time to slow down as both Ayane and the worms continued to battle each other.

Joichi walked through the Tokyo night, a figure shrouded by shadow on all sides. The lights from the street cornor flickered on and off as Joichi walked to an unknown location. For some time, that was all he ever did. Most days he would spend wandering the streets looking for someone... some girl. Joichi didn't know why he wanted to see her. Joichi never thought of himself as a 'ladies man', he never really put any thought into actually asking out a girl before. he usually just kept to himself, the loner inside dominating his personality. But this girl... it was almost as if something was pulling him to...

The thought would need to wait.

Turning a cornor, Joichi came face to face with a pack of Worms surrounding a red armored figure. Such a sight would astoined someone else, but Joichi had seen it before. Besides, Joichi prefered to hide his emotions. What he did show was a sense of annoyment that the group blocked his way... an act that needed to be punished.

"Sonsofa... I guess I can't escape this fight can I?" as if an alarm went off, the Sasword Zector bursted from the ground and landed in his hand casually, as if it was the millionth time it'd done it. With a quick motion, Joichi pulled the Sasword Yaiba from it's holster and snapped the Zector on.

"Henshin!"

Purple particles materialized onto Joichi's form, covering him in purple armor with orange tubes. Soon after, Joichi leaped into action, slashing a duo of Worms that tried to sneak away from the battle. When Joichi turned to face the red figure... they had disappeared.

The night of Tokyo was a clam night for both Satoshi and Shiro. Both of them went out to the nearby Ramen cart grabbing some dinner. Satoshi started to ask Shiro about the belt he got earlier.

"Say, Shiro.. why do you give me this belt? They don;t look nice on my cloths or anything plus it;s bulky.." continued Satoshi slurping up his Ramen

Shiro looked at him :"Do we need to discuss this? Just keep it, there must be some use to it..."

Satoshi just looked down to his bowl of ramen and started eating it. "I guess Shiro must be worried if i got attacked by Worms again and this belt must be to protect me. He's too shy to tell it to me i guess..." as Satoshi tried to makeup a valid explanation.

((OCC: congrates on the RP too! My character will need much development before he can become Gatack. Do bear with me lol coz Gatack Rider is a strong one ! grins::))

Shortly after Joichi arrived on the scene, a dark armored figure was inspecting the battle that was transpiring. The figure's armor resembled that of Kabuto's rider form, but was much darker in color and had what looked like lines of circuitry running across it's chest. Also, it's eyes were a yellow tinge instead of Kabuto's bright blue ones. After Kabuto and the worms it fought disappeared from sight, the figure reached for one of it's waistpads, to further watch the battle.

As soon as the figure hit it, a Arcane worm jumped from behind in an ambush attempt. The figure zipped behind the worm and grabbed it by it's neck. "Don't interfere." The voice was female and sounded annoyed by the worm's sudden appearance. Not wanting to make herself known at this point, she forcibly dragged the worm into a nearby alley and threw it into a trash can, it's contents slowy filling the air.

The worm responded by leaping towards the figure and pinning her to the ground. "Get off!" The figure kicked the worm hard in it's side, driving it off her. The figure reached for a weapon much like Kabuto's Kunai Gun and slashed the worm across it's chest.

(OOC: And so Dark Kabuto arrives. :laugh: I hope I can do the character justice.)

OoC: I'm back, and it appears nothing much happened, so....
Akimoto then heard a mechanical voice say "henshin". The red person had seemingly disappeared, right after "cast off" was said. "Oh, great." He groaned, before turning around.

A gold beetle flew to his hand. He kept on staring at it, like he was debating on whether or not to use it. "Henshin" He finally said, putting the beetle onto his brace, and a metalic voice echoed back. His armor appeared immediatly after, so Akimoto jumped into the battle.

Joichi continued his assault on the vicious Worms, sparks flying through the air and returning to the earth like rain. A figure of gold flashed in his eyesight for a brief moment, but quickly disappeared. Joichi had no time to pay attention to outside distractions. After several minutes of constant slashing, a lone worm began glowing red, the others backing away from it. Joichi halted for a moment and stared at the Worm.

"That's a new trick." then, the flesh of the worm melted off, revealing a black and yellow insect with pincers and a claw grip on it's left arm. "Definately a new trick." The Worm disappeared from sight, a yellow blur left in it's place. A shocked Joichi scanned the surrounding area, only to find a claw slash his chest and sent him crashing through a window into an abandoned warehouse. The worm slowed down and swayed slightly, getting closer with each snarl it made. Joichi lifted himself from the concrete floor, popping his neck and shoulders. "You sneaky SOB. I guess there's no way to get this over quickly. So let's do this." Joichi lifted the Sasword Yaiba and smacked the Zector tail down.

"Cast-Off!"

A metallic voice repeated the message and the armor began to move slowly off his body until it finally blasted off with such force that the windows in the warehouse shattered. The Worm screeched loudly as Sasword's eyes flashed green.

CHANGE SCORPION

The Worm disappeared once again, but Joichi merely chuckled and ran his fingers over the trace switches on the belt.

CLOCK UP

Joichi ran with blinding speed blocking the Worm's way before it could escape out the door. Soon, Joichi and the Worm engaged in sword-to-claw combat, the victor to be decided soon.

Luppi entered his house and noticed his parents were asleep so he quietly went upstairs and went into his room he placed the Drake Handle on his desk and laid in his bed and stared at the ceiling and said," I know there must be more people that have those machine insects I just need to find them, maybe if I fight during the day time then I could attract people's attention and then people would know I have one of them, then I will get all the answers I need." Luppi closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Akimoto struck a worm, and let it go to the ground. he let another three fall to the ground, just before a worm jumped onto his back. A few thers followed. "Just great." Akimoto said, slapping his waist. "Clock Up!" He said, a voice echoing. Time stopped for a few moments, letting him escape the worms."Clock Over" the metallic voice said, time begining to go on again. He then mercilessly attacked the worms, then watched them fall to the ground and explode. He took a quick glance at the others, and then started attacking the worms again.

Keeping the pressure on the Arcane worms she battled in Clock Up mode, Ayane immediately pulled out her Kunai blade, sensing the arrival of more Salis Worms. Before she could react, however, the Arcane worm managed to hit her with a claw swipe, knocking her out of Clock up mode.

CLOCK OVER

Things just keep getting better and better.... Ayane sighed under her helmet, shaking her head as she pushed herself off the ground. With the Kunai blade still in her hand, Ayane rushed back into the fight and continued to hack away at the Arcane worms, who have exited Clock up mode in an attempt to finish her off.

Katsumi maneuvered around quickly from tables that were assigned to her that evening. It seem that the evening rush hour poured into the restaurant more earlier then expected. Having to rush straightly from school, Katsumi went into the women’s restroom to change from her school uniform and into the restaurant required uniform. Inside the gym bag besides from school books, notebooks and etc…was Katsumi’s special treasure (the Kick Hopper Belt). It hadn’t been more then at least a week falling into her possession and yet to learn its capability.

Sparks flew at the abandoned warehouse as Joichi and the Worm were locked in mortal combat. The tiger-striped worm was tough indeed, but Sasword was too quick for him. With an upward slash, the Worm was sent into the air and tumbled to the ground. Joichi then placed the sword on his shoulder very cocky-like and extended his hand, pointing at the Worm.

"Let's finish this, shall we?" grabbing the Sasword Zector, Joichi lifted the tail and then smaked it back down, tachyon energy flowing from the Zector to his scorpion tail on his head. "Rider Slash!"

RIDER SLASH

Joichi placed the sword by his waist, as if in a sheath, and crouched down slightly. The Worm got up from the floor and roared wildly, rage flowing through it's own body. The Worm then began running at top speed toward Joichi and leaped into the air, claws aimed to attack. At the last second, Joichi swung the blade from his waist and sliced the Worm across the chest. The Worm stopped and landed a mere foot from Joichi and held still. The room became silent except for the sound of a dripping noise. The sound of poison dripping from the Sasword Yaiba.

CLOCK OVER

The worm exploded in a magnificent yellow flame as the outside world returned to normal. As the smoke cleared, Joichi relaxed and let the Sasword Yaiba rest on his shoulder once again, extending his arm and giving the flame the deceased Worm a two-fingered salute. The battle would have been over for Joichi were it not for the OTHER sounds of battle outside. Joichi sighed and tapped his sword on his shoulder.

"Man, can't I get a minute off?" Joichi then ran out through the abandoned building and returned to the original battlefield. Joichi then came faced-to-face with 3 spider-like creatures fighting the red armored figure. Not skipping a beat, Joichi jumped into the air and knocked one of the spiders over with an elbow strike. Regaining balance from his attack, Joichi turned to the red figure, locking eyes with them, and gave them the univeral 'here-to-help' sign... a thumbs up.

Ayane, who pretty much kept up the assault against the Arcane worms, knocked away the third worm with a kick, while hacking away some more at the two worms in front of her. The slashes proved too much for the worms, as both let out a final shrill of agony before exploding into white flames.

The third worm, knocked to the ground by Ayane's kick, shrieked in anger as it got up, and leaped into the air to attack her from above. Ayane acknowledged the presence of the worm, and merely smiled underneath her helmet as a purple rider also jumped in, knocking the arcane worm to the ground with an elbow tackle. She then turned to face the Purple rider, who flashed a thumbs-up sign at her. "Thank you. I appreciate your help in this fight," Ayane told the purple rider, her hand moving to the Zecter's three leg buttons -- a sign that usually meant Ayane was ready to finish the fight. She pressed the three leg buttons in order from left to right as a computerized voice counted "1, 2, 3". "Rider.....Kick," Ayane announced, pushing the Zecter's horn back to the original position and tugging it back again, causing a tachyon charge to develop on her horn before it transferred to her right leg.

RIDER KICK

Aware that the worm was rushing in from behind, she immediately swung her leg around and struck the spider-like arcane worm down with a charged roundhouse kick, causing the last worm to explode in white flames.

Joichi watched the red rider deliver the immense kick to the Worm, a whistle of amazement escaping his lips. Joichi then walked over to the rider and gave a slightly too hard pat to the back.

"Nice kick, dude. The whole hit-him-with-back-turned was a nice touch." Joichi then pulled the Sasword Zector from the Yaiba, the armor dissolving into purple particles as the Zector jumped from his hand and tunneled away. Joichi then placed the Yaiba into his belt and placed his hands into his baggy pockets, slumping everso casually.

"So... who're you?"

Ayane stood by as she witnessed the Purple Rider pull out a Scorpion-like object -- probably the young man's Zecter -- and dehenshin into a handsome young man, his face exuding amazement at her actions during the battle. "Watashi wa.....unmei no musume...*" Ayane responded calmly, answering the young man's question as to who she was. She then turned her focus back to the group of salis worms for the moment, and saw that a dark red version of herself and a Gold armored rider had been keeping the Salis worms busy. Well...I suppose I can call this a night. Those two can take care of themselves, she thought to herself, noticing how efficient the two riders battled behind the blue visor of her Kabuto helmet. Without further hesitation, Ayane began to walk away from the scene of the battle, leaving the astonished young man behind.

Joichi lifted an eyebrow in perplexment. He then began to catch up to the rider, his face seemingly annoyed.

"Hey! Hey! Just who are you?" Joichi ran infront of the red figure and began walking backward and talking at the same time. "Look, you obviously have a henshin-thing like me, right? Just what are these things." Joichi paused for a moment, "Will ya answer me?"

Ayane continued to walk away, unaware that her comments have merely confused and annoyed the young man. However, it would be clear to her soon enough as she felt the young man tap her shoulder armor, prompting her to stop and turn around to face him. "I am who I say I am. Nothing more, nothing less," she replied, turning around once more to walk away. As she continued walking, however, the Kabuto Zecter disengaged from the belt and flew away, causing the Rider form armor to disappear, thus revealing her civilian form to the young man. No need for words when I can show you what I am.... Ayane smirked, continuing to walk away from the young man.

Joichi's mouth hung open as the red rider disappeared, leaving a beautiful and pink haired girl in it's wake. Not just any girl, the same girl Joichi saw the night he found the Sasword Zector, the same girl who Joichi, though he probably would not admit it, was smitten with. Joichi froze as he gazed at her, it was as if only her and him existed in the universe. Joichi couldn't help but blush everso slightly.

"Y-you're... that girl..."

The dark armored figure kept on slashing at the worm's chest, sparks flying with each strike. The Arcane worm backed off and fired off a hard string-like substance from it's mouth, knocking her weapon from her hand. The worm fired again and the figure jumped towards the alley wall to dodge and rebounded off of it, delivering a flying kick to the worm and sending it to the ground.

CLOCK OVER

Time resumed to normal, the flying contents of the trash falling quickly to the ground. "You're too much of a pain." She started priming for her finisher.

[1-2-3]

The worm suddenly got back up and charged her. The figure, undetered, lifted up her right leg and delivered an axe kick, knocking the worm down and her foot now on the worm's back. "This is the last time you interrupt me." She then flipped the Zecter Horn back to it's original position and flipped it back, sending a tachyon charge from her horn to her right leg.

RIDER KICK

She then smashed her foot down, going through the worm's back and causing it to explode under her in a black plume of smoke. Once the smoke cleared, she left the alley only to see a gold-colored rider fight against some Salis worms. "That one put me in bad mood. I need to blow off some steam. Besides, the hero of the story needs to help her sidekicks." She said to herself, picking her weapon back up and diving into the crowd of Salis worms.
