Kamen Rider Kabuto: NEXT (RPG Thread)

Joichi paused for a moment, the night air becoming quiet...



"Rider Slash!" Joichi slammed the tail down, the sword sending a wave of tachyon energy from the Zector to his stinger helmet.

RIDER SLASH

Joichi then began his run at Ayane, a scream erupting from his lungs as he lunged forward. With a jump into the air, Joichi brought the sword down on her helmet...


... stopping before he could make contact.


"Psyke!" Joichi then pulled a 180 and shot a crescent wave of energy at the Neo-ZECT Troopers. The wave hit the ground, sending several flying backwards. The Colonol, stunned from the attack, staggered up from the ground and faced Joichi.

"What the hell are you doing? She's-"

"Shut up, will ya," said Joichi, his street attitude returning, "next time you get a punk like me to be your little play thing, don't assume he's as dumb as he looks. I knew you guys were full of it ever since you said Ayane was a terrorist. I knew that someone like her would never do something so evil and vicious. So, I played along until it got inconvienent. Thanks for the gift though," he said lifting the suitcase he got, "it'll make a good christmas present." After Joichi stopped speaking, the two women in black veils stepped out in front of the troopers, their faces filled with annoyment.

"We should have killed him from the start. No matter. One of us is more than enough for those two. Would you like the honors?"

"Gladly." The woman on the left stepped forward, her heels clicking across the concrete. Suddenly, her flesh disappeared in a spakle of red light, her features morphing into a new form. In her place stood a red and gold crustaceon-like creature, the right arm an enormous claw, the left one a hand of scaly whips. Her, it's, mandibles snapped loudly as her antennae flailed slightly.

"Ah snap." said Joichi.

Ayane, who witnessed Joichi use his Rider Slash on the troopers instead of her, instanly caught on to his plan. I see...so you've been playing them all along.....You had me convinced, that's for sure, she smiled underneath the helmet, managing to keep her cool in spite of Joichi's deception. However, her smile would turn into a frown as she witnessed one of the two women wearing black veils transform into a seemingly high-level Worm. Knowing that the charge was still activated on her right leg, Ayane immediately jumped into the air and nailed the high-level worm with a charged dropkick, the tachyon energy forcing the Worm backwards but not enough to destroy it. "I see.....so this is an Executive-class Worm.....No surprise why Taiyo-kun had problems with them as well...." Ayane mumbled to herself, gritting her teeth as she witnessed the other woman transform into an Executive class worm as well, just as the first one got up

Before both can attack her, however, Ayane began to notice small mechanical "beetles" zip towards the Worms, buzzing around them in a rather unorderly fashion. Wherever these came from.....gotta be thankful that they're here Ayane thought to herself, rushing towards her Kabuto Extender and hopping on. She then turned her attention to Joichi. "Aoi-kun! Come on!" Ayane yelled, beckoning Joichi to get on the Kabuto Extender as well.

((OOC: This is gonna be my last post for the Nighttime sequence. I'll leave it to Henshiner to start.....the next day :P))

Joichi turned to the troopers and Worms, giving them a mocking wave.

"Chao!" With that, Joichi ran full sprint to Ayane and jumped onto the backseat, placing the breifcase on the storage holster and his arms around her waist. "Sorry." The extender screeched off the pavement, skid marks left in their place. Joichi turned his head to see the red crustaceon Worm sprinting toward them, gaining speed.

"Uh, Ayane? I think we have a-" before he could finish, the Kabuto Extender pulled a wheelie and th extender went even faster down the road, the Worm becoming a mere speck in the distance. Joichi turned back to the front, peering over Ayane's shoulder. Suddenly, Joichi became blinded by an orange light. But he quickly adjusted and saw what the light came from.


It was dawn.


"Wow. Looks like we spent all night fighting Worms. Say, what are you doing for lunch?" Then, Joichi sped away with Ayane, alive once again to a new tomorrow.



(OOC: I didn't really know how to phrase any of this next part, so just think Ayane dropped Joichi off at his house and he went off to bed. Good night!)

Hikari's sleep was once again disturbed by that of her alarm clock. Slamming her hand down on the snooze button, she looked at the clock, still groggy. Alarmed by the time, she rushed out of bed. "I'm usually up way before this! Oh, I hope I'm not late!" She said in a frantic tone, putting on her glasses. Hikari had to travel quite a way to school, which was the reason why she got up so early. She quickly changed into her school uniform, grabbed her stuff, and rushed out the door. Following close behind her was the Dark Kabuto Zecter, which flew in front of her. "What is it now?! If it's a Worm attack, I'll take care of it later!" She brushed the Zecter aside, continuing her way to school.

At an abandoned warehouse, a darker version of what appeared to be the Kabuto Extender was inside, almost as if it was waiting for somebody to find it....

It was a nice warm morning, Satoshi is still on his bed drooling and smilling senselessly. The sounds of students walking by and laughting has became a natural alarm for Satoshi since his house is situated strategically nearby his school where the path is where students must go through to get to school.

Satoshi opened his heavy eyelids, to found Shiro ready with school uniform and sitting there having his breadfast. Shiro looked at Satoshi i said :"Good morning, you are late." toned calmly as he start eating his breadfast

"Oh ya, good morning. I am late...wait... LATE!!! Oh no!" Satoshi finally realized he overslept. With haste, he washed up himself and got himself into his school uniform while eating the breadfast prepared by Shiro earlier.

Meanwhile, Ayane, who had brought Joichi home a couple of hours ago, had parked her Kabuto Extender right at the gate of the high school she attended. However, due to having fought several fights as Kabuto the night before, she was woefully tired, and was slumped over the Kabuto Extender, unable to heed the sound of students conversing. The sounds of conversation began to fade as many of the students have made their way into the building -- all while Ayane snoozed. Soon enough, however, she felt something nudge her on the shoulder, while a voice called out her name: "Ayane......Ayane...."

At that point, Ayane began to stir, pushing herself up off the Kabuto Extender. "Unnh....I'm awake, pa......Where's breakfast..." Ayane mumbled, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Upon rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, she managed to open her eyelids....only to find Kaoru, a handsome male student she has a crush on, staring back at her, his face expressing a warm smile at her. Ohmigosh......My hair's a mess.....and my breath stinks......what am I gonna do? Ayane panicked, her cheeks flushing red as she focused her eyes away from Kaoru and onto the pavement, severely embarrassed that she had been caught snoozing on a motorcycle by her crush.

Seeing the school come into view, Hikari slowed her pace. As she was approaching the gate, she noticed Ayane and Kaoru near each other by a motorcycle. She knew Ayane only through study sessions and didn't have any real opinion on Kaoru. She noticed the motorcycle and almost did a double-take, recognizing it from her father's descriptions. That looks like the Kabuto Extender! It can't be, though... Deciding that school wasn't the best place to bring this up, Hikari approached Ayane for diffrent reasons.

"So, Ayane-san, did you study any last night for the test today? I hope yesterday's study session didn't go to waste." Hikari said this rather bluntly, not really caring if she was ruining Ayane's chance to be with Kaoru.

"So, Ayane-san, did you study any last night for the test today? I hope yesterday's study session didn't go to waste."

Having been busy feeling embarrassed about Kaoru catching her sleeping, a voice cut into her thoughts, prompting her to look up and trail her eyes to the source of the voice. She then saw Hikari, a girl who she met only during study groups, approach her and Kaoru, her face exuding a sort of annoyance. Trying to calm herself down, she immediately got off the motorcycle to face Hikari. "I did manage to get in three hours of self-study time before I went out to get some fresh air," Ayane told Hikari, trying to reassure her fellow school mate. Unbeknownst to Hikari, Ayane studied for three hours at the park, where she took short bursts of break time scanning the area for Worm activity.

(( OOC: Plan is now put into motion ^^ Yay finally I get to post stuff related to the story, Okay gonna get to Hikari and Ayane now))

At the school's entrance a crowds gathered, as a big bus was parked near the entrance. There a Stand and stage was set up for auditions for channel's 8 up coming Romance drama "Melody". Sitting at a panel of Judges are The Producer, Director and lead Actor Kobe Tanaka.

"We're looking for talented students to play some minor roles within the show but don't be disappointed this studio organization has room to expand" Tanaka announced as he smiled the to crowds of students who got in line to audition.


Standing at the school entrance and recruiting is not anyone else but Kurenai Misaka one of the actresses in the show.

"Please right this way, come come we need people" Kurenai said sweetly, as she recurited and sign autographs at the same time. She then spots Hikari and Ayane from a ways "Please excuse me" Kurenai said as she went her ways away from the crowd. She looked back at the producer and blinked to reveal her scarlet unnatural red eyes. Before changing back to her normal self and approaching the two girls.

The producer saw the signal from Kurenai and then raised his glasses. Waving his hand to get the current person whom he didn't like off the stage.

Kurenai approached he two girls then notice that one of them was staring at her with a stange gleem in her eyes. ....that's alittle scary.... Kurenai thought

"Hello there girls...we're having an audition right now and I think you two be perfect for it Come on let's try out " Kurenai said as she gently pulled Ayane the girl that looked at her stangely to the stage.

Luppi woke up and said," Man I forgot it was a school night." Luppi did not set his alarm and he was late for school, he ran out of his house and got in his car he drove off and said," Man I wish I wasn't fighting those damn worms last night,I mean there were enough riders well at least I made a friend." Luppi got out of his car and was still early enough to get to class on time, he carried the Drake handle just encase and as he ran he ran pass two girls and it fell out. Luppi went back to pick it up and then ran off to class.

( The two girls are Hikari and Ayane.)

Satoshi and Shiro was walking to school as they spotted a large crowd infront of the school entrance.

"What's that all about? Schools are not that interesting to attract so much crowd." asked Satoshi

"Let's check it out, since we still got some time before class starts." replied by a curious Shiro too

Both slowly squeezed themselfs thru the crowds and saw a stage was set up for auditions for channel's 8 up coming Romance drama "Melody".

"Hey, that is actor Kobe Tanaka and also actress Kurenai Misaka over there. Gotta get some autograph from her!" as a happy Satoshi spotted one of his favourite actress. He ran towards Kurenai Misaka and asked for an autograph.

"Hel..hello, Miss Misaka can i have your autograph? I am a big fan of miss. You sure are very pretty." requested a nervous Satoshi

Joichi didn't care for school. After what he went through last night, the LAST thing he wanted to do was go to some school of posers. Unfortunatly, his butlers had not given him the choice.

Joichi lived in a large mansion. One of the largest in the country to be exact. Though some may think the life of a rich kid would be a dream come true, in reality, it was almost a living hell to Joichi. For years, the torment he recieved from other kids over his wealth beared on his soul. Friends were scarse and the girls only liked him for his money. Loneliness was always present. Butlers never cared for him, just put up with him to get a paycheck. Then there was the death of his sister. That was when Joichi became rebellious. His parents were never around so no one really cared WHAT he did. Too bad his parents left the butlers instructions to make sure Joichi went to school. The ONE time they care about him and they make him go to the established limbo that is school.

But Joichi wasn't mad. Infact, he had a smile on his face. The night before had no effect on his health. He was a night person anyway. No, today was a day of opportunity for Joichi. The opportunity: Find Ayane and ask her out on a date. Then, have her fall in love with him and live happily forever.

Piece-Of-Cake.

Joichi finally made it to school, his face in a smile... which quickly disappeared when he walked past the parking lot. In the lot he saw Ayane and a black-haired girl along with another guy talking. Ayane was blushing at the sight of this guy. In the distance, a wolf howled.

Joichi froze in his spot, a twitch coming across his left eye. He instantly knew who the guy was. Kaoru, a pretty boy who was smug and thought himself to be number one. A guy who's had as many girlfriends as most people have had hot meals.

In short: An A class douche bag.

Joichi was relieved when Ayane and her friend were pulled away by a mysterious woman. What he was about to say to Kaoru was not going to be pleasant. Walking through the parking lot, his face now a mix between complete frustration and a forced smile, stopped to the side of Kaoru.

"Hey, man. I saw you talkin' to that girl over there. You know, the one with the pink hair? You thinkin' of asking her out."

Hikari's train of thought was interuppted by Kurenai's voice, turning her head to look at her. Hikari recognized her as that idol Kurenai Misaka. She wasn't all that interested in her career, but did own some anime titles where Kurenai provided her voice talents. Hikari wouldn't usually bother with pointless stuff like this, but noticed that Kurenai was dragging Ayane to the audition stage. Maybe if I stick around Ayane, I'll find my answers... Hikari started to follow Kurenai and Ayane to the stage.

[Neko-Ranger]

Akimoto flew out of his bed at the sound of his alarm. He overslept! He never overslept until today. Grabbing his uniform, he ran into the bathroom, where he put on the uniform and did the toiletry stuff. He then ran to school with a donut in his hand. It would be a long day. And he wasn't even night person. When he reached the school, he saw Ayane and Hikari from class being pulled onto a stage with Kurenai. For a second there he thought his eyes had turned into hearts. He had a small crush on her. He walked up to the stage to see that they were auditions. "Kool!" he thought aloud.

The next morning Yoh parked his Machine Zectron near the school and took his helmet off. "Who would ever think I'd come back to this school." He thought then saw Ayane with her friends. "She goes here? Hm this is getting more interesting by the second." He said as he walked off to his first class.

Ayane, who was somewhat getting annoyed that Hikari had butt into her "alone" time with Kaoru, felt herself, being dragged, along with her school mate, by a woman that had somehow emerged from a crowd of students in the front of the school. Looking to see who had dragged the both of them, Ayane let out a small, barely audible gasp as she found that it was Kitsune Misaka who was dragging her and Hikari inside. Though she usually kept her calm, she felt her heart race even faster, mainly because she owned an extensive collection of DVDs of Kurenai's various anime and J-Drama titles. Upon being dragged up to the stage, Ayane took note of the many faces that stared at her in disbelief, with many of them not expecting that a girl that usually faded into anonymity would grab the attention of Japan's hottest actress.

Meanwhile, back outside the school gates, Kaoru stood by and chuckled as he watched Ayane and Hikari get dragged into the school by Kitsune Misaka. You're a very special girl, Ayane-chan. Well-worthy of savoring this moment... he thought to himself, maintaining a smile. However, a loud, arrogant scream would cut into his thoughts.

"Hey, man. I saw you talkin' to that girl over there. You know, the one with the pink hair? You thinkin' of asking her out."

Kaoru promptly turned his attention from the stage, where Ayane and Hikari stood, to the source of the scream, which was a grungy-looking young man with spiky blonde hair. "Ahhh...you must be talking about Ayane-chan. She is a good friend of mine, so I'd say 'yes' whenever she's free," Kaoru calmly answered, acknowledging the fact that Ayane also had responsibilities to take care of. However, Kaoru had also caught on to the fact that the young man was probably jealous, based on the angry tone of his voice, as well as the indignant look the young man wore. Must this all end in violence....? Kaoru sighed, putting his hands in his pockets.

While Katsumi was packing, Takio made himself comfortable on a chair and within a few moments, started to fall asleep after fighting. Takio tried to wake himself up but could not help dozing off. He decided to stand up and do soemthing to keep himself awake. As Katsumi was changing, Takio politely knocked and said a few words.

"My place is at the suburbs not too far from here. I got a guest room so you can stay there."

Takio then collapsed can't helping himself to falling asleep. before he even noticed, he was already curled up like a cat on the floor sleeping.

(OCC: One of Takio's pet peeve is that he falls asleep after becoming punch hopper sometimes.)

Katsumi had finished packing only the needed essentials, when she heard upon their given designation and where she would be staying. Making one final check that everything was packed, Katsumi had taken one more look around her bedroom. Closing her eyes briefly, Katsumi turned around and exited the bedroom to let Takio was ready. Though once outside her bedroom, Katsumi had received a startling surprise that brought her face into a full smile. The Kick Hopper Zector jumped onto her shoulder, catching the young woman’s attention. Placing her hand upon her lips, silence her friend and move back inside the bedroom.

“I think Onii-chan has the best notion, wouldn’t you agree?” Katsumi questioned, while searching the closet for a throw blanket and returned into the main room. Considering everything that had happened today and the time, Katsumi couldn’t bring herself to wake him up. Kneeling down next to him, Katsumi place the throw blanket over him and retired for the night herself. At first Katsumi didn’t realize it, found her unable to remain awake herself and fell onto the full bed.

The next day…

Katsumi mumbled half awake fumbling her right hand towards the left side of the bed. Blasting loudly was her alarm clock, which she had once more forgotten to turn off. Groggily opening her eyes open, Katsumi stretched out and grasped onto the alarm clock. The time on the clock had sent her into a temporary stage of panic until remembering that her school was out for today.

Luppi sat in class waiting for the bell to ring, because of the way he looked people tended not to be his friend and he thought," If they knew I could make friends easily, but thats wrong." Luppi looked in his pocket and saw the Drake Zector and said," Screw this I need to talk to people." Luppi went to the commence area where people would hang before class started having like ten minutes left he walked over to where the emo and goth people would hang out and he sat down and someone said," Who are you?" Luppi said," My name is Luppi Leones." Some dude said," I know you aren't you that guy who wants to be like a fashion designer, man do you know people think you are girl." Luppi said," Really?" The guy nodded and he laughed. Luppi couldn't believe what people thought about him, but he talked to everyone and they all seemed to like him, Luppi also figured out that the guy was in a few classes of his and he hung out with him throughout the day.

( OOC: You guys can still continue the school day I am just wanting to end it because I am going to sleep.)

Joichi twitched at the words that escaped this SOB's mouth. If there was a time when Joichi wanted to shove his fist down someone's throat and rip out their spinal cord... he couldn't think of one.

"Well... good luck to ya, chum." said Joichi, literally having to shove the words out of his mouth with force of will, "I just got ta tell ya..." Joichi stepped closer to his face until he was only an inch away, "...you hurt her, even once, and I'll make you pay. Bet on it." Joichi then walked toward the stage area, purposely bumping into Kaoru.

"Pompous ass. I can't believe Ayane likes that kind of guy..." Joichi stopped short when he spotted his reflection in a giant glass window. His blonde hair was spikey and out of order. His clothes were that of a punk rocker or a grunge groupie. Joichi took that image and compared it to the one of Kaoru: Nicely trimmed with clothing of an Abercrombie & Fitch model. Kaoru was a pretty boy who was well-known for being every girls dream come true. Joichi was dirty rich boy who was known for skipping school and rearranging the principal's furniture. What kind of chance did he have with Ayane?

"(Sigh) I need some help."

Feeling the grungy young man bump into him intentionally, Kaoru merely closed his eyes with a smile, seemingly unaffected by the harsh words dealt by the young man. I would most definitely say the same for you....Grunge-kun, he thought to himself, opening his eyes once more and turning his attention to the stage, where a lot of students have currently gathered and are cheering for Ayane and Hikari. Well...I guess I better cheer Ayane-chan on.... Kaoru sighed, walking into through the school gates and toward the crowd of students gathered at the stage.

Meanwhile, not far from where Kaoru and Joichi had their little stand-off, a man wearing a men's yukata calmly walked along, his wooden sandals scraping the concrete road as his eyes, though somewhat covered by wispy black hair, focused upon the group of students gathered in front of a school, as well as the Channel 8 van parked behind the one motorcycle he knew all too well -- the Kabuto Extender. Young people nowadays........so impressionable..... the mysterious man sighed, taking note of the cheers as the grungy looking young man -- Joichi -- began to pass him by, prompting him to bump the young man in the shoulder and knock him to the ground. Aware that Joichi was angry at his actions, the mysterious man began to point his index finger to the sky. "Grandmother said this: A little rivalry among men is sometimes acceptable, for it shall give them the chance to shine," the mysterious man told Joichi, his voice exuding an eerie sense of peacefulness.

Kurenai smiled She love the people and the crowds of her fan who loves her. She likes to please them and loves acting, in different roles that she had portrayed upon request. But today it wasn't about her it was about gaining more people for the new show. So she was happy to come out and help the auditions

"Hel..hello, Miss Misaka can i have your autograph? I am a big fan of miss. You sure are very pretty." requested a nervous Satoshi

KurenaI let go of Ayane and directed her where the line for the stage is she gave Ayane a smile " you'll do great I bet your a natural, all you have to do is read some of the script and the judges will take over , don't worry about class all auditions have been excused" Kurenai said in a hurry and turned her attention to a nervous fan that wanted an autograph.

"Thank you" Kurenai said and winked at Satoshi " where do you want me to sign ?" Kurenai looked at him skeptical then an assistant came over with some small posters that promotes the new show and had her picture on it.. The Crowds gathered and they all wanted autographs from her.

"please everyone you'll all get one I promise" Kurenai said and turned her attention back to Satoshi, She signed one of the pictures " since you were the first one to ask I'll give you something special" She said and grabed a red lip stick from her assistant's bag and put it on, then kissed the picture leaving marks of her lips next to her signature "Here you go" she gave Satoshi the Picture.


After she started to sign more papers she notices a young man around the audition area (Akimoto). She then looks left and right " My.... are you lost? Did your brother or sister forget to drop you off at middle school? Oh please excuse me" She excused her self as she was pulled to watch the auditions that were about to go up on stage. Ayane being the third In line and a Support Actor took the stage to help the girls try out.

Joichi paused, reflecting upon the akward moment. What was this guy talking about? Joichi never really understood metaphors.Suddenly, the face of the man he faced made something click. He was staring at the very man who saved the world before.

Tendou Souji.
